I still don't get how with so many people in the world don't like SJW's, are anti censorship, etc... I mean gotta be like 70 mill plus people. How does nobody apparently have the money or knowledge to build your own sites, servers, back end etc... Classic example of choking out the very things that made you what you are. These new overlords haven't been here for decades like many of us, and they don't know what this forum is about: A lockeroom for lifters where we have some form of freedom to talk about our real opinions and life experiences.

Almost everywhere else is heavily modded so as to fit in with the current PC culture. Misc was one of the last havens that people actually respected and liked.


It's clear the forum is on its last leg, it's all dying embers since Misc lost its soul. Little by little they shed the things that made us special and then will act like surprised Pikachu when everyone leaves. Overlords will still be millionaires at the end of the day though, they don't really care. Meanwhile, I lose a place I've called a home for the past 18 years.

I've seen this happen on a few forums I used to frequent. When Speedchannel/SpeedTV went though their varied buyouts, the forums became more and more restricted to make it more attractive to potential buyers/advertisers.

Couldn't do photoshops. Couldn't say anything negative about NASCRAP...I mean, NASCAR. An they even banned words like goober, Homer, honkey, redneck along with the usuals.

Last one was when Rogan shut down the JRE forums when he started to get larger and broader advertisers.

Like you said, it's all about the money to them. Not what drives traffic. Make 99% of the people bow down to the weakling 1% just pad their bottom line.

It's been obvious what their intention is ever since they blocked off new people from seeing the misc at all to 'prevent alts' jfl. The owner of this website is a leftist and this is one of the few forums on the internet where you can express counter-mainstream views. The goal is to make every public space conformist to the Overton window to fit the narrative and avoid liability.

Once the misc is gone I'll probably just erase my online presence, delete all my photos, and live my life disconnected from society outside of my immediate social setting. More time to read and write and whatnot. Not interested in this ****gy tiktok SJW culture pervading everything now, without the misc I'll just keep to myself and my boyos. Unfortunate this is what reality has become but at least I had a blast in my twenties, not opposed to going monk mode 30+.
