The left is so dense they assume antivaxxers are staying home? People who didn't get the jab are out and about living life spending money keeping this country going ffs. After this last year and even the few years preceding it, going to the movies just makes less and less sense. Too expensive and the concession food is outrageously priced so why even bother? I can pay less and eat better food for cheaper if I just watch it at home. It's fun to go to the theater for big releases and movies like 40 year old virgin were hilarious with hundreds of other people all laughing at it together, but those days are long gone. With the remote lifestyle taking over and everyone already being glued to streaming services it just isn't as big a deal to watch a movie at home now. I find it hard to believe millions didn't watch this at home on HBO although depending on the price I'd skip it entirely. Most of the compliments I hear about this are that it's better than the original, which is a laughable defense of the movie. If I told you the restaurant I own is good because the last one I owned sucked and this is better you'd still never go there.

Obviously it'd have done better if it wasn't in the middle of a pandemic, but another issue is that this movie didn't need to be made. There was simply no demand for it. Margot Robbie, while hot, isn't really that marketable on her own and her best movies are when she co-stars along side top tier actors like Leo and Brad Pitt. Margot and Will Smith carried the first movie, but honestly Will Smith was a better character. That movie did poorly, the follow up all girls birds of prey did poorly....why would this one be any different? Stop making these movies, nobody cares even if they are entertaining a bit. You'd be better off just making a harley quinn tv series or something if you want to doll margot up and sell her sex appeal. This would have been a lot better in non pandemic year of course, but oh well they made the choice to release it and people just simply don't care that much. Rottentomatoes (I know it's dumb) has the critic score of 91% and the audience score of 84% which means it's really about a 75 at best. Typical cucks liberal unable to accept responsibility for their own failures and inadequacies.
