Weird how I should've been dead with me being immunocompromised/unvaxxed
Glad to hear it didn't **** you up srs. It is a weird virus as a healthy 49 from my old city died from complications/lungs shutting down just last week, but in 2020 I had 2 close people to me, 1 was 55 and unhealthy get it and have mild symptoms, the other is a 40 year old daily pot and cigarette smoker had mild symptoms as well.

My 91 year old grandma had it as well and symptoms were extremely mild. She still went on her treadmill daily while afflicted with it.

I just don't like the randomness of severity.

Only good thing is I have normal bowel movements. I just feel super weak and have a hard time relaxing.

Any of you brah’s have experience with the supposed treatment “Ivermectin”?

How long did it take y’all to fully recover? Is there supps or foods that you recommend I take.

Pray for brah.
Ivermectin is a drug. Take it. I would have also said quercitin and zinc but you need to use that early or as a preventative.

I would rest, drink fluids, and get 10,000IU of vitamin D. If you have access to ivermectin, take it as well. Go see a doctor if you haven't and follow their advice. If you have trouble breathing, do not hesitate and get yourself to the ER immediately.

Keep monitoring your blood oxygen level as thats key indicator if your lungs are recovering or getting worse. Those pulse ox meters are very cheap and easy to buy.

Did you get vaccinated?

Had it a few weeks ago. Super lethargic and fever for the first few days. It took about 1 1/2 weeks before I was able to get up and move around without being exhausted. Didn't cough or have breathing troubles. That was my worse fear because I smoked for 21 years and up to three packs a day before I quit a few years ago. My sense of smell and taste now coming back. Hunger wasn't an issue since I am in ketosis and my appetite is non existant.

Now, all I could think about is how they shut the whole world down over it. Yeah, it sucked, but my immune system isn't the greatest. I felt more and more better the more I moved around. Honestly, I suffered Mononucleosis when I was 20 and that was way worse. My throat closed up, massive fevers and bed ridden for 8 weeks. All I could eat was jello because my throat felt like knives were being jammed in every time I swallowed. inb4 Bill Cosby forced D sucking jokes...although are funny.

Likely 220mg of zinc sulfate which = ~50mg elemental zinc. 50mg is fine for short term supplementation

Because effectiveness is on a spectrum, and we can “boost” it with a booster. The same way your natural immunity can be enhanced with both reinfection or with vaccination. Waning from 90-95% effective to 80-85% doesn’t undermine the initial vaccine data. It’s biology.

You’re gonna make it but I won’t sugar coat it. 4 days of a high fever is not good news even with a regular flu. Continue to stay hydrated, supplement with zinc, vitamin D and probiotics, but I’d also recommend seeing the doctor. Covid is very treatable now.

Because it’s not. Immunity wanes and pathogens evolve. Again, going from highly effective (90-95%) to 80-85% is not entirely unexpected nor does it undermine the early effectiveness data. Any other questions?
