The guy should be more clear about his true intentions. He has faced no abuse, nor has his pictures. Young kids wind up in educational textbooks, DVD's, magazines, children's toy commercials, etc. because it's a quick and easy photo shoot and direct payment.. Most of them were too young and unaware, and those companies made millions, but you don't see 5 year old Johnny suing X company for wearing a swimsuit in a 90's slip n slide commercial.

He just wants money, a big payout. He does kind of deserve to be compensated for his image being used for so long (companies like hot topic and such have made money from selling his face on t-shirts afterall, then you have poster sales, cd sales, etc it adds up). Nobody would be annoyed with him if he just asked to be compensated. He just went all in with the lawsuit, guns blazing. His parents got 200 bucks, blame them, but you can't because they were probably just as naive and didn't know how big that picture would become.

this was already posted but what the actual fukk. How can you POSE for this same photo at least twice in your adult life, get the album name tattoo'd across your chest AND THEN DECIDE YOU WANT TO SUE??

His parents got paid for it, the photographer was a friend of his dad or something like that... how on this flat earth do you go and file a lawsuit now? The only logical explanation I read of this was a comment somewhere else that if he wants the rights to the photo so that he can NFT it, lawyers could keep the full $150k he'd bank much more than that if he played it right.
