Soda companies are aware, but it's not hard to fool people with "diet" soda and "Zero Sugar" Coke, Pepsi, Sprite, Dr. Pepper. Pick your poison. At this point I would rather drink a regular coke and have the sugar then whatever chemicals are in the soda making it diet or zero sugar.
