To the OP question Id say I really found the value in small town living. I avoid big cities now and find them overwhelming and obnoxious and I’m a big city guy born and raised.

On a positive it made me realize the rat race really is a joke. Once I had enough money to not worry I wasn’t interested in any more money if it meant more stress. Simply not worth it. What would I buy anyways, another car? Also made me pump the brakes on some new technologies. My phone broke so this time I bough a cheap $200 one. I don’t need a 1k phone. I also don’t need every new app, device or “thing” that comes out.

I busted my ass to get to a 122k and was fukin miserable every step of the way. Happiest I ever was is when I was making about 70k, single, losing weight and getting in shape and just enjoying my life. Had a 2007 Toyota Camry, a 55 inch tv and an Xbox and had all I needed.

Politically it made me realize there is no such thing as the “American people”. I’m also not sure we have a culture. This country is more like a giant business than a society. I also gave up on any form of jingoism. I don’t care if you’re a veteran or a police officer or a firefighter. Who the **** cares and I’m a veteran myself. I don’t care that Dan Crenshaw was a SEAL. I don’t care about that other SEAL who shot Osama. Congrats now unless you are talking about preserving liberty get off the news.

America is an idea based on the constitution not a country and if you don’t believe in the constitution you are not an American. Every election I will vote against the Democrats but beyond that there is not much I can do. I’m also openly anti homosexual now. You told us to “stay out of our bedrooms” but now you’re in our schools and libraries. Bunch of fukin perverts plain and simple.

So to sum it up I want a quieter, simpler life. I want to buy and own less useless **** and just enjoy time with my kids doing stuff I like. When my kids are much older I am going to separate from their mother. She doesn’t make me happy but the kids childhood is more important. But I want a return to the peace I had as a single man.

Sitting on my couch playing Xbox, drinking a Coke Zero and chatting with my buddy on a Friday night. God fukin damn there was nothing better.

I thought about FA moneymaxxing and setting FIRE as a goal in my life... then property values and rents doubled while I was in school.

Nope. Housing takes up too much of a chunk of my income now for earlyretirementmaxxing on a wagie salary to work.

This as well. As I said to a tranny lover in another thread.

I plan to have 4-6 kids. I will teach them my beliefs and I will teach my grandchildren those same beliefs. My friends and other family are doing the same.

My children and I will be fighting against clown world, during and long after the tranny off itself.

Stop reading the news brah, it's working on you just like they want it to. Dead srs.

Yes, clown world, yes, sht is weird. But it's still possible to live a good life and raise a beautiful, healthy, happy family. Just not as easy as before. But whatever you believe you can achieve. Right now you're feeling down. I was there, but dead fkn serious, stop reading the news. And get away from this place as well for a while. Your mood and outlook will be better.

You have to realize it is literally an addiction though. It'll be tough to stay away from the news and here, but I promise you you'll feel much better after 30 days without.

if your goals in this clown world aren't

- moving into the phucking woods or at least far away from cities
- having your own passive income streams/own business
- being self-sufficient as possible and being equipped to survive some world/nationally altering survival event
- meeting other like-minded people and starting an anti-clown world cult based on wholesome christian values

just lol @ you

1970 - let's move into the cities for more opportunities, more jobs, money, entertainment, etc
2021 - let's move to some farm/cabin in the middle of some forest beside a lake, sounds kinda nice

You've expressed that you tend to stay away from diversity but what if a Mexican or Asian family moves in as your neighbor? Lets say they are hard working, friendly, and are more right leaning politically. How would you feel about that?

That’s the way to do it IMO. If we give up on children they definitely win as another miscer stated itt.

Contrary to what most people in this thread think, I think it's making the average population tired of it and will backfire.

I’m waiting.

I mean they have grown men dressed as women with dildos hanging out of their asses reading to kids at public libraries. No one seems fed up yet.

Don't blame you brahs for wanting to abandon and just move away and live your life in peace, but I'm going to stay and fight against modern degeneracy. I can't be "cancelled" so I do my part.

I've become much much less materialistic and status seeking, and much angrier irl and less tolerant of liberal, governmental, and corporate bs. If you're behaving degenerate, I will judge the ever living fuk out of you and voice it. Luckily irl I've only blown up once in public, at a thai restaurant against a feminist in Berkeley lol.

I used to aspire to live in the city and enjoy the social nightlife and lifestyle that comes with it, but now with rising crime and sheer degeneracy American cities have lost their luster. Many agree with me as we see urban flight happening across the country.

Everything in advertising/marketing and aspirational lifestyles on social media is a lie to enslave you in one way or another. Time and your attention are the two most precious assets that you own.

My friends and I all agree that we've witnessed the start of the downfall of the United States, but if we're going down I'm going down not without a fight.

Yeah. For the better tho. I have been relatively lucky enough to keep my pay with extra flexible hours so I spent a decent amount of time creating my own LLC for side-gig.

Good thread. Always wanted to teach, but higher education is a joke anymore so I think I'll just stick with writing as my long term goal. Luckily, I work a remote job that has very much not been affected by anything COVID, left-wing related. if anything, clown world has just made me see the world for what it is even more. And people....this one might be the biggest change. It's made me lose so much faith in people. It blows my mind how many people can buy into everything that the media says and everything that the government tells them. Just so many stupid, stupid people out there who just blindly follow. Clown world has closed me off a bit from society and not care as much to form relationships because inevitably there will be a difference of opinion at some point and in clown world, if you don't agree with the rest of the sheep you're an outcast of society. What a time to be alive boyos.
