Which androids are you guys talking about? The $30,000 base Galaxy Note IC upgraded every 6 months with previous models self-destructing, or the cheap $150 androids?

Have a 13pro max 1tb on the way. My 12 Pro max will fast charge - takes 15W no problems, the 13 will take 20W. But yea - it's not 100% in 30min like you say android does, but I try not to do it too often because it's bad for the battery.

I'm too entrenched in the iphone system. And it just works - I updated to iOS 15 last night. I don't think my phone has rebooted in over 2 months prior to that.

Why do you cux care so much about a damn phone? I have an iPhone because they work better IME and they retain their value better when I want to upgrade, which is rarely. I also think Apple is less ****ty about privacy than Gaygle is, so I try to vote with my wallet in that way.

Here's the simple answer:

1. If you want to have more "freedom", be able to customize things more, or want cheaper phone options, go with Android

2. If you want something that works pretty much right out of the box and is intuitive for everyday use (photos, calls, texting), get an iPhone

It's really not that hard.

Im most likely getting the note 22 in January. I think it will be fantastic.

Pros/cons of apple vs android? Any ragrets from folks who switched? I like the customizations I can do on my Note, but it's not the biggest deal at the end of the day since it's all just cosmetic. I use my phone a lot for work (emails, calls, teams meetings sometimes) so that's priority.
I tried switching from an Android Samsung Note 20 Ultra 5G to an Iphone 12 Pro Max to see what all the IPhone hype was about. Hated every single second of using the Iphone. The only thing that I can honestly say was awesome about the Iphone was the Camera. No matter how cheap the Iphone is it always takes beautiful pictures. Other than that everything about Iphones are straight cringe. Everything is locked down and Vanilla, there is also very limited customizations you can do with an Iphone. All around it is great for someone that knows absolutely nothing about technology like a "Special Adult", Small Children, or Senior Citizens that are getting a smart phone for the first time. Apple is Over Priced, Over Hyped, Obsolete Hardware, and Shoddy Build Quality designed to break constantly in order to milk screen/glass replacements at Iphone stores from their Isheep customers. Not to mention their software updates are made to intentionally handicap performance on older models in order to force Isheep to upgrade to the "Lastest and Greatest Isheep Gimmick"
Come on apple its 2021 and you are still requiring Syncs to Itunes.....Clown World.

Hi wutevs (:

I have an iPhone and I’m currently considering switching to android. I work in IT (if you don’t remember) and I can’t stand Apple’s locked down BS. Android doesn’t seem all that much better, but if I can customize it and keep it simple/clean, it might meet my needs.

iMessage is a dope replacement for SMS, but it’s proprietary and therefore dogchit.

Unfortunately, Google is bogarting the RCS rollout for Android, so you pretty much have to use Google messages if you want to get away from plain SMS. They were supposed to have released the API to developers by now but everyone is still waiting.

Apps like ******** are superior, anyway, and I only have to SMS with a few people anyway (I'm degoogling my phone so I removed Google messages).

On Android, if there's bloatware you can't easily remove, you can do it with ADB and plug your phone into a computer.

What exactly isn't working right out of the box on an Android phone?

Android has better hardware

Apple has better UI and better optimized apps since most developers create apps for IOS

if you care about camera, battery, sound output, performance = Android

if you want a phone to perform well on the group of apps you use all the time. and have friends = iPhone

Used android at work , it was provided. As soon as I got laid off I bought another iPhone .
I prefer iPads and like the way everything intergrates ,including my Apple Watch .
I’m very used to the look of favourites with apple , and didn’t like how your favourites worked with my android phone .
I find the image quality is superior with Apple also . I found android hdr makes everything that’s dark look far too dark , as well , I have a harder time reading the text on a Samsung display
