If you lengthen your limbs, you're just opening pandoras box, aside from the blantant mental problems you are projecting. Next it will be ass injections, bicep injections, lip injections, botox, etc.

People in their 20's usually go through a phase where they arn't happy with what mother nature gave them. It's just a phase. And if you go through with it, you'll end up regretting it for life. Korea had the whole surgery thing going on and I would say it fkd up a lot of them mentally once past a time period. Unless you are going to fix something like a witch nose or double chin, it's not worth it. They are going to tear into your femur and hack that chit up. Just imagine brah, just imagine.

Bruh have you seen a mockup of what youd look like?

5" to 5'6" is... a lot.

If your torso isnt proportional, you will look like a damn bird.

What if you get the surgery and you realize that you look "off"?

Probably more complications if you then shorten your limbs back.....

I've imagined it for a long time boyo. Understood the risks, and was informed of the ins and outs of the procedure. The "phase" will enter the realm of being an artistic performance when my whole entity evolves internally and externally. Literally and figuratively.

Well you might understand the risk, but you don't understand the consequences. It's much more than physical risk. There's mental risk. I too went through a phase of wanting to look like a Korean movie star. But had I gone through with it, I would lose my defining characteristics as a male and what my mother and mother nature gave me.

It's good to get counter opinions on this. Because this can be life altering in very NEGATIVE ways.

My main concern with this is they are going to lengthen your bones, sure. But nerves, muscles, tendons, etc all attached to those bones can't lengthen, especially nerves.

Just from a functional perspective, your sciatic nerve would be screwed and you'd be in constant back pain. Hamstrings and quads and hip flexors always pulling. An inch or two, maybe, but five? No way that's not going to seriously screw up your body.

You're assuming by entertaining the thought of going under this operation I have a mental illness but what you're doing in actuality is feeding into the narrative that if anything there's anything that involves going under the knife to improve one's own internal insecurities they must have some form of mental illness. I'm not saying you're wrong, there's a very distinct association between mental illness and cosmetic surgery, but having that black and white mentality about self improvement, you're leaving out those who do it to feel better about themselves. And unless you've been in one's shoes, you don't have the right to completely judge nor fully know what lead to that person to ultimately make that decision nor see their perspective. It voids your opinion of that person.
