If you have money laying around, I recommend picking one crypto that is stable and invest in it. I don't recommend Bitcoin.

Another good investment is getting a college degree. I recommend that more.

I personally like Gemini.https://www.gemini.com/share/byd9w4fy

Can buy Bitcoin, Ethereum, and various others. Also they give a flat 8% annual interest on their stable coin. So you can buy some crypto, and if you want to keep some USD value that earns 8% can toss some in there too.

Yeah i imagine theres gonna be a huge correction, right? at which point it would be smarter to get in and buy the dip.- plus the price is so high right now, even going to 100k isnt gonna be that big of an increase since you likely wouldnt even have a whole coin right?

Crypto is the future. Its undeniably the best "money" humans have made. The dollar is going to collapse at some point and crypto will take over. Businesses and people need to start using crypto for payments.

Educate yourself before investing in anything. You have a dangerously low understanding of market cap and risk.

olawd newbie checking in, would appreciate some advice on how to get started

How does this chit work? as a Canuckbrah it seems i have limited options in terms of exchanges.
I've heard about binance and coinbase but would rather fund through a canadian exchange, although I do remember hearing about a canadian exchange that turned out to be a fraud and people lost their btc lol

I just signed up with netcoins and waiting to get processed by KYC... in the mean time I'd like to know what's the general approach to buying altcoins?

Would this be a good plan: buy eth and get a ledger/setup metamask then use that eth as a universal currency to purchase rando chit like metis?

As long as I have the seed phrases then I own this chit right?

What are people using to buy cryptos? Not trying to use a trader that froze those people buying AMC and GameStop last time.

It's crazy the number of people in this thread who don't know shyt about crypto (like even how purchase it) seem so ready/eager to act on OPs advice _ I know some are kidding/trolling, but some are clearly serious as well.
