You can’t even spell his name right, but I’m supposed to think you have any idea what you’re talking about?

If you don’t think there are other players against this, but afraid to speak up because they are replaceable you are living under a rock. You’re also an idiot if you don’t think he’s making a stand. Yes he was forced into this position, but you think he didn’t know this would happen eventually? He would just never catch COVID? He didn’t have to come out and make public comments, most of his career he has just ignored media altogether, he could have easily done that here too. He said people in the media knew he wasn’t vaccinated. At the time when he said he was immunized he was trying to get his treatment approved by the NFL.

He didn't lie about it, the nfl and the packers have been aware the entire time.

That’s what we call lying. He didn’t have to. The only reason I even brought it up is people are trying to pretend he’s some anti-vaccination hero. He’s not. He tried to hide it from the public, and when asked he immediately said there were other on the team (not him) that were not vaccinated and he wouldn’t judge them.

Shifted attention REALLY quickly to his teammates. Douchebag.

It isn’t a typo when you’ve done it multiple times.

Me explaining how stupid your take is, is all of a sudden losing it…okay.

You haven’t said anything but your opinion on it either. As yes, you do seem pretty worked up about it. I’m going to assume you’re unvaccinated too.

He's not even anti vax he made that pretty clear so anyone saying that he's a 'anti vax hero' is a fool.

Look at this fuking mental-midget idiot. Sorry this isn't reddit where a screeching vocal minority is here to back up your insane comments. I'm going to assume you didn't watch the Pat McAfee interview where he calmly and rationally states his point of view. But you're a rambling Covidian who thinks everyone needs to be double/triple vaccinated even though they're 10 times healthier than you will ever be.

It’s one man’s opinion, and I’ve already stated many times here it’s not all about COVID by any means, and if had just said he didn’t want it like a normal honest person I’d respect that.

Read your post, I wouldn’t be yelling about echo chambers or emotions if I were you. The people like you, who obviously have an agenda are far more worked up over defending him than people like me are angry at him.

And don’t pretend calling Rodgers a diva that maybe isn’t worth working with was highly in fashion here before the 3rd.

More outrage in the sports media over Rodgers not getting this retarded vaxx that doesn’t work over Ruggs driving 156mph drunk and killing someone

The NFL has always been a sht organization morals wise. Someone takes a puff of pot and it's the end of the world, but beat your gf near death in an elevator and it's cool - so long as you're a good enough player.

And the NFL is totally at fault here too, they knew Rodgers wasn't vaccinated, they knew he lied to the media and fans about it, they saw him walking about him not wearing a mask. And no, he didn't follow protocols, anyone that thinks that is really deluding themselves.

He said he believes there's a lot we don't know we about this vaccine, which he's right.

He also said taking it is the probably the best choice for some people.

How is that anti vax

Well, let's look at his actions, because he clearly is fine with lying - so his words aren't going to control here.

Now what are his actions? He thinks it might make him sterile. He thinks he's "allergic" to the ingredients, but won't state what. He's taking ivermectin. He thinks he was "immunized" fromhomoeopathy. He took advice from new "great friends" (or whatever his exact words were) Joe Rogan.

I'm going to draw my own conclusions here - and nobody can think all those things and actually think it's a good idea for someone to take the vaccine.

So anyone that doesn't want to take the vaccine personally is antivax? Is that what you're saying

I gave you a long list of things that makes Rodgers a lot more than "I didn't want to take it." I clearly didn't say what you're claiming I said. So don't "summarize" it that way.

He thinks it will make his dick stop working and homeopathy makes him fully "immunized." Yes, he's anti-vaccine. If those two fantasies were true nobody, nobody should take the vaccine. That's the world he's constructed in his mind, probably listening too much to his crazy fiancée and Joe Rogan.

So it's about honesty huh? First of all what gives you the right to demand his private medical history in front of millions of people. When did that become normal, to ask someone off the street "are you vaccinated?"

The media does not have the right to put him on the spot like that because it is his private personal life. Aaron Rodgers is about bodily autonomy. Something that you obsessed covidians cannot come to grips with, so you have to seek these punitive, petty, vindictive measures. And now his team is suffering from it. Not because of any real threat to their physical health, but because of your political obsession. Yes, YOUR political obsession. Instead of letting the man play ball, you are trying to cancel an obviously healthy athlete from competing because of a sensationalized disease that he has basically recovered from in a few days.

But let's go back to 'honesty'. Is "honesty" the name of the game when you are asked a question while staring down the barrel of a loaded gun? You cannot argue that there is not a witch hunt for unvaccinated players. People are losing their jobs, their livelihoods, their reputations, in the name of this sick game. So you say he "lied," well I say he lied to protect himself. He lied to protect his livelihood, his image, his hero status, because of this woke mob. And that's what it comes down to--the fuking witchhunt that is trying to cancel people over something that they claim isn't political, yet they demand people lose their jobs over something which is a personal choice and has less chances of killing you than driving a car to work.

Fuk outta here. you're trash.

Maybe because somebody in the NFL organization cares more about the game than your sick politics. Mask-wearing is virtual signaling, especially when 80% of the organization is already vaccinated. You're deluding yourself if you think any of these rules make sense in the real world. People wearing masks in restaurants and taking them off when they sit down. Wearing masks on the sideline and then smashing into unmasked people on the playing field 5 seconds later. Players running through a sanitizing shower. It's all theater. Who the fuk cares about enforcing protocols when they don't even make sense to anyone who can think for themselves.

You redditors are so obsessed with following the rules you won't even stop and contemplate their efficacy or morality.

Fuk outta here. you're trash.
You're obviously very emotionally invested in your Covid narrative. I'm fairly certain nothing I say will get past that, and the more points I make the stronger you will lash out with these personal dismissive insults.

But, on the off chance communication isn't dead - here why what Rodgers did bothers me a lot - and I used to defend him, I was a Rodgers fan - despite all the diva sht and chip on his shoulders.

He's not just someone - he's a household name and nobody made him become that. When the media asks if he's vaccinated he can say "that's none of your business" - but he didn't do that. He lied. He probably lied to most of his team. He was going out of his way to avoid Covid protocol because it would have raised questions.

That's not body autonomy. Covid is infectious. You get it from other people. Some people are really at risk from Covid, some people have people at home that are really at risk. Don't get vaccinated - fine - that's his call. But don't lie about it and then pretend it's some kind of "my choice." It's MY choice to know who I'm around.

If I'm going to be sexually active with someone and I ask them if they have any STIs and they lie - wellll fck them. Would you defend that? I doubt it. Rodgers has always thought he was the smartest most special person in the room, but most people didn't care - until he put people at risk. And the thing is - again - he didn't have to. He didn't want the attention so he lied and in the same breath tried to deflect to his teammates were choice not to get it.

A lot of Covid protocols are silly. But not all, wearing a mask works. He wasn't wearing one. He went to a Halloween party with apparently a good number of people who assumed he was vaccinated - because he said he was. Clearly no mask. Again, I think you're too invested in lashing out against precautions that have been a pain in the ass - but for those of us who dislike Rodgers over this - it's just one diva bridge too far. He clearly thinks the rules don't apply to him, everyone else will get vaccinated, but he thinks it will make his dick stop working - so Rodgers gets to take shots of water and call it fully "immunized" while admitting the vaccine works to keep people safe.

He's a POS.

So you're still antivax if you have weird reasons for not wanting it, even you support vaccines generally?

I have no idea what Rodger's take on other vaccinations is. And again, his words don't cut it for me, cause he's obviously willing to lie to meet whatever viewpoint he thinks is popular.

But answer my specific statement. Rodgers is afraid the vaccine will make his dick stop working. He also thinks this;

"In homeopathy, homeopathic dilution (known by practitioners as "dynamisation" or "potentisation") is a process in which a substance is diluted with alcohol or distilled water and then vigorously shaken in a process called "succussion". Insoluble solids, such as quartz and oyster shell, are diluted by grinding them with lactose (trituration). The founder of homeopathy, Samuel Hahnemann (1755–1843), asserted that the process of succussion activated the "vital energy" of the diluted substance,[1] and that successive dilutions increased the "potency" of the preparation, although other strands of homeopathy (such as Schuessler's) disagreed."

Can fully "immunize" him against the virus.

If someone believes these two things - they are anti vaccination. I'm anti-smoking, I think anyone that does it is stupid and taking a huge risk with there health. I still support the right of people to smoke, but I'm anti-smoking. With what Rodgers believes about the danger of the vaccination and what he thinks immunizes people - he feels the way I do about smoking no matter what he says.

Then you have no grounds for calling him anti vax plain and simple.

Brb I don't know his opinion on vaccinations but ill label him anyway.

Look, this is the kind of response someone types when they have absolutely no valid points to make yet are invested in a position and feel forced to double and triple down.

I obviously meant anti-Covid vaccination. That's what I'm talking about, that's what everyone is talking about, that's what this is about. It's pretty clear to me you don't actually want to talk about this, but on the off chance you do want to reply with a substantive post this little gotcha you think you found is a dead issue.

Now how about you reply to the very specific question I asked you based on facts we know? I mean, it's clear why you won't but it's getting very transparent.

He's a POS.
You're right I am emotionally invested because everything I said is true. When you're close to losing your job, your entire livelihood because you don't want to inject yourself with something, that's a very good reason to get emotional.

I'll take back the stinger but I don't redact any of my statements. You're obsessed with control because you think that somebody breathing in the same room as you is the same as having sex and infecting you with STIs, just LOL at your delusion.

Aaron rodgers didn't play by the rules, but neither do most of us. He broke the one rule that you're not supposed to break--he didn't get vaccinated, and thus is getting crucified for it.

Like, imagine if I went through your life and found out all the times you didn't wear a mask or stayed 6 feet apart from another person, and crucified you, called you a liar, a "plague-rat" and chit like that.

IT'S NOT A BIG DEAL. LET THE MAN THROW A FOOTBALL.

On a sidenote, because you have an issue with the man's choice of words:

First of all, let's agree that the definition of "vaccinated" is becoming a nebulous one at best. And when boosters become mandatory to keep "vaccinated" status, well the definition becomes even more hazy.

So let's not pretend the CDC has a monopoly on the word "immunized" because as far as I'm concerned it doesn't. They can't even define the effects of their vaccines because they keep revising its definition.

As far as I know, Ivermectin or whatever the fuk Joe Rogan advocates does a better job of "immunizing" against the COVID than the chitty vaccine does. I'm probably wrong, but who is really calling the shots here? There isn't enough data as far as I know and vaccinated people sure are catching COVID a lot these days.

My point is that picking apart his definition of the word "immunized" just so you can call him a liar to his face is low hanging fruit at best and wordsmithing at worst. I find it hard to believe you're truly angry at the man for "lying" as opposed to not being vaccinated. CNN will call it a "bold-faced lie" and crucify him for it, because that's all they have to work with. But let's be honest, they just don't like people espousing bodily autonomy because somehow ORANGE MAN BAD. That's what this all comes down to--politics and the crusade against the "far right".
