Ultimately people will use whatever BS logic to rationalize their decisions.

BRB corded clippers are such a hassle I can't trim my hair without wrapping myself in the cord like a mummy and tripping over it etc

Or maybe you're possibly exaggerating to make yourself feel better about a stupid purchase.

Yes barbers also have cordless but I guarantee they own at least one pair of corded because they need reliable backup.

I bet nobody ITT can give LEGIT reason for cordless other than bending over and spreading for marketers and advertisers.

I had this argument with my brother months ago.

I said when I want devices that are drawing their power from as close to the source as possible.

An outlet is closer to the source than a ****ing battery, which is essentially a "middle man" between your device and the outlet.

Cordless = portability.

Why would anyone need or even want cordless clippers?

They gonna be walking around the house while trimming their pubes or something?

Or maybe they have the only bathroom in the developed world that doesn't have at least one outlet?

Andis model US-1.

Super solid build, the clippers weigh like 4-5 lbs and body is metal.

Super powerful, they feel like a weed wacker or a lawnmower in your hands.

I was legit shocked at how powerful they are at first.

To be clear it's not like I tried a bunch of different clippers and picked those, so there are likely better clippers out there.

I read a few reviews, ordered them off Amazon and was pleasant surprised at how high quality the clippers are.

Can't remember how much I paid, wanna say around $60-70.

I have an Andis T Outliner to shave my head. I can shave my beard with it but you have to be a bit precise. I wish I had a better option to trim my beard. My Wahl broke. Any suggestions appreciated.

I also have another set of Wahl clippers but I hardly use them now.

IS double edge safety razor best way to go for an extremely close shave? Or something better? Bought a Merkur recently and it does a pretty good job but kinda hard to get the angle down

Yes but a good lather (a skill in itself) is key imo. If ever I have irritation or tugging, it's almost always the lather.

I used to overthink angles and wonder why I wasn't getting amazing shaves. Get the lather right and the angle/glide come natrually.

I honestly couldn't tell you, it's been a long while since I started. I do remember it taking forever not to get red and irritated which was an angle/pressure issue. I would say if just starting to pretend you are shaving a balloon to get the right angle. It's a good mental trick to get one to ride the cap and apply as little pressure as possible.

Yeah after messing around trying out different guys i found my dude, in a trendy Latin barbershop.
Every cut looks amazing and i get compliments again.
Expensive at 40$ but well worth it.
