I don't hate the guy. He seems like a nice person and a good dad.
Many liberals have been generally upset with him for a long time, and for a variety of reasons. I saw one feminist refer to his show as "toxic masculinity with better marketing." I've seen other people criticize him as alt-right-adjacent for having long friendly conversations with conservative trolls like Gavin McInnes, Alex Jones, Charles C. Johnson, etc. He has said things like no man should ever consider himself a feminist, which sounds pretty silly (to someone like me), but it is less silly when you see his episode with Dave Foley, whose family life has been destroyed by a crazy ex wife and Canadian divorce courts which tend to sympathize with women.
My main gripe with him now is his covid related interviews with people like Dr. McCullough and Dr. Malone. It's one thing for Joe Rogan to argue politics with a Ben Shapiro, for instance, but Rogan is way out of his depth when he's talking about scientific matters, so these guys who aren't taken seriously by most in their own fields really enjoy coming on Joe Rogen to espouse their whatever to millions of naive listeners without having to worry that the scientifically illiterate host will challenge them in a meaningful way. If he were interviewing a slew of cryptozoologists arguing for the existence of Bigfoot or wendigo, I wouldn't care. But now lives are at stake, and he's functioning as a net-negative influence in this situation.

Absolutely not.
So who is challenging the current narrative? Who is presenting data to fauci for him to explain? Is Twitter banning misinformation like when Biden says getting the COVID shot stops you from getting COVID?

It's a hot night. The mind races. You think about your knife: the only friend who hasn't betrayed you, the only friend who won't be dead by sunup. Sleep tight mates, in your quilted chambray night shirts.

I like Rogan. He's an open minded type libertarian IMO. I don't agree with everything he says but the long format gives him a chance to really pick people's brains and debate. He's also willing to change his beliefs when presented with new info.
I usually only listen when someone interesting is on tho.

We’re seeing this with pat mcafee’s show and coronavirus. He gets uneasy now when it’s mentioned and quickly tries to pivot away from the topic. He admitted today that he was questioned why he didn’t push back on Rodgers “misinformation.” Having listened to all of the Rodgers interviews, he never says a single thing that could be considered misinformation. He questioned nonsense nfl protocols, and explained by he didn’t get vaccinated (allergy to all but j and j, concerns regarding AEs vs. trivial benefits for a pro athlete is excellent physical condition).
If you make millions, the people controlling the people who give you that money have way too much say. It’s why we see so many who sell out. If I just got a 100 million contract, would I piss it away for not toeing the line on COVID? Probably not.

He’s rich, successful, influential, straight, and can’t be controlled by the ideologues. Call activists see strong individuals as the enemy. If you are not part of the tribe, you are the enemy.
Meanwhile, collectivists will do and say things to show the rest of the collective that they are harmless and one of them. They are like lemmings ready to runoff of the cliff into the abyss if their leaders tell them to

But from every interview I have heard so far, he’s very calm, just asks questions, isn’t over the top all all
Why hated by libs? He seems very level headed

If libs want us to comply, they need only back off. The more government gets involved, the less we trust they really want what’s best. The fact that they gain so much power from this alone is enough to resist, even if it kills us. Srs we are at war, even though no shots have been fired. Death is always worth it to prevent extremism
