except that stocks are based on companies and products and services which you can measure against announcements, research, timing of the economy, etc... bitcoin is just an alternate form of currency thats is currently being overhyped to a massive scale and the attempt at making it a global currency is waning every day and its looking more and more like something that is going to be a financial "fad", kind of like NFT's but longer lived.

Boyo you gots to pay more attention, btc generally spikes +3,000 every morning then it drops throughout the course of the day. Btc trades 24/7/365, it doesnt have opening and closing prices, the price is always live....

I don't know what it is about those NFTs but every celebrity and "influencer" is getting a bored ape. It definitely is a current trend.
