Plus you would have all the concern over feelings and what not....so no mass nukings or carpet bombings of entire cities. The US military hasn't been tested in a war like this for a long, long time. Technology isn't everything. Look at the Afghanistan withdrawal debacle at how incompetent these people are.

And no military has been really tested in a war like we are discussing since ww2. Out of the 2 it’s clear the US has more real experience though.
That’s especially true when you consider new aged tactics and tech. Russia touts its hypersonic cruise missiles but how many real tests have been done? How accurate and reliable are they? And that’s the only real advantage they have over the US today.

I don't think America is ready to fight a ground war in Eastern Europe against Russia.
They don't have the stomach for it.
Nazi Germany, among the hardest mother****ers in world history, failed in the Eastern Front.
It's not like Americans are harder and would fare better.

Meh who cares about the avg grunt, war changed a lot. Even if the 99% of the army turns into a welfare camp for soyboys the us will Still have dominance.
It's all about having a tiny elite force (special forces) and higher tech for air/naval superiority. The us still dominates in those three things.
