All that said, these days, I can barely even defend his older stuff any more. Dude was basically a clown act that happened to get insanely popular at the time. His Slim Shady goofball shtick got old quickly, and aged terribly. Dude was such a try-hard with 90% of his rhymes. Just because you can figure out *a* rhyme with something doesn't make it a good/entertaining rhyme.
