The thing that should scare liberals about this is how if the government is allowed to do this while your guy is in power, they will still be able to do all these things when someone you don't like gets in power. The left seems to forget how their authority isn't permanent.

Glen says that *in his opinion* the Federal Reserve can't wait for Build Back Better to pass and that an activist Federal Reserve Board may take action to institute modern monetary theory, which means that they need to be able to look at all of your financing and be able to affect how you spend money. The Federal Reserve does not have the power to do this, BUT as the top bank regulator Ms. Raskin could potentially exercise her power over the banks to gain this.
