You would think someone would've said something during the MeToo era a few years back.I wish to think Michael wasn't a bad man. You can be weird without being a molester. He probably only wanted to give kids a childhood he didn't have with all the toys and possibilities a kid can imagine, and he lacked that sense of knowing what is seen as appropriate or not. A lot of former child actors seem to go through a rough patch when they get older and there doesn't need to be abuse in the picture. It can be that they feel robbed of a normal childhood, that the fame and job opportunities wear off and they have to try to form a new identity while always being recognized for a role they did as a kid.

I know what you mean. Watch that Martin Bashir doc with Michael. He was talking about being on the road at a super young age and his teenage brothers slamming groupies in the bed next to him in hotels etc. Older women aggressively throwing themselves at him long before puberty. That would have to mess with you. He talked longingly about wanting a normal childhood so when he got older, he did what a 10 year with unlimited money would dream of: bought a castle with an amusement park, had pet monkeys, had sleepovers, etc. Would I have trusted him with a young family member of mine? Not a chance. But I would never trust any adult with children in that way.

For those kids sake, I hope that he didn't molest them. But he certainly could have been that f'ed up.
