First Shingles vax for me was rough, second was a breeze. Both better than blisters and chit all over your body. Getting old sux.

Some of you guys all need to calm down. The shots about your colon were pretty low, I don't know enough about Patty's kid to comment there. If it's type 1, I would lay off, kid has enough problems being raised by Pat. If it's type 2, then that's on Pat, allowing their child to eat themselves sick is on the parent.

In any event, Sillie, you're unhinged at times and very odd but I wish you no ill will. Hope your health recovers. I haven't really followed this thread but if you're talking about the covid vaxx, you were on the front lines demanding everyone get it regardless, and you were dead wrong when you did it. Nobody should be forced to take anything, much less experimental shots that most of us had no need for even if they worked.

The benefit of a shot that offers potentially milder symptoms for a handful of months are minimal. The dangers were unknown. When people like you demanded millions get the shot to protect against something that simply was not a major threat to most of us, I hope at the least you've seen the error of your ways.

Pat will double down. He's a fool and that's what fools do, but I hope Sillie is made of better stuff than that.

Edit: actually read the OP, seems like this is about another vaccine, one that is tested and considered safe, yet it's giving the OP a very hard time. All the more reason to be suspect about a new vaccine, largely untested or tested in bad faith, using new unproven tech and one being pushed on far more people than the shingles vaccine.

And just to be clear, yes I'm unhinged at times, agree. And I DGAF what Deputy Dawg, or anyone else for that matter, jokes or says about my health. I'm luckier than most so that's what I focus on.

I just think the Deputy is a jackass who offers zero insight and throws out the same canned 3 or so responses to whatever he's responding to.

Don't want to see him perma though, he's one of those dudes who helps me remember how good I have it.

With Dave, he and I tend to be on the same side politically, so I never have had beef with him. Like I said, the colon mockery was low -- I respect that you've been open about your struggles and your suffering sounds like bad luck/genetics and not some personal flaw of your own like overeating, abusing your body or something like that.

So often here, people are like z4 and lying about how great they are and how wonderful their lives are -- kind of like the fake chit you see on ******** where everyone is always smiling and having fun, always hiding the bad stuff. Not you, though. You own it and it does bother me to see someone take something noble like that to prod you with.

Appreciate the nice words boyo and I bet we all dig this place because we can be dicks at times and get away with it.

And no matter how tough things have been, at least I still have hair of the gods. Well hair of the demi-gods now anyway, thinned a bit post my 2nd surgery and I haven't seen evidence that it's all the way back yet. Still pretty dang good though.
