guns existed 30 years ago, blowing away a school full of kids didn't.

With that said, I know plenty of people I don't think are mentally fit to own firearms but I couldn't tell you how to turn that into a reasonable, investigative metric of ownership.

My own opinion is that it's a combination of a deteriorating society and gun access. For me is comes back to the freedom vs safety argument. I've done what I can to limit my risks by living in a quiet rural area, and I am unwilling to make the trade for more safety at the expense of freedom.

ive read many books and countless studies/articles on the subject. SSRIs work by numbing your emotions and in some cases, all kf them. people can lose their ability to love, feel interpersonal bonds, sense of consequence, and even gain suicidal and violent tendencies.

Not saying this would stop shootings, but in a highly narcissistic social media driven society, the way these murderers are covered in the news certainly promotes more of them.

We also need to reintroduce morals to our culture. We have people demonizing others, which makes killing people more okay in people’s minds.

how?
stop giving attention-seekers the attention they seek
giving attention-seekers the attention they seek only ensures there will be more of the similar kind of attention-seeking many of these mass shooters are
many of those in gov and media doing it fully realize that
the massive coverage on the MSM right now is only creating more of it
many of them aren't killing kids or whoever because they just wanna kill kids or whoever, but rather because they want the sort of massive media attention like we're seeing right now
it's the same reason you don't ever give in to the demands of terrorists - because it just makes more terrorism
1) End all gun free zones as much as is humanly possible except for places like courtrooms, jails, mental institutions. Our strong gun ownership rate + gun free zones creates too many easy targets for would-be mass shooters. If someone can legally carry concealed then they should be able to do that anywhere they go as long as they are sober.
2) Stop giving so much media and gov attention to mass shootings. The mainstream media and gov are giving extreme levels of attention to mass shooters and they know that is only going to increase the likelihood of more of the same. They are intentionally, knowingly doing this knowing it will lead to more. Most people who do these things are doing it to go out with a bang and not a whimper. The bang they are seeking is that massive national attention. There should be a brief mention of it one the news in a 10-20 second news clip once or twice per channel and that's it. You can't make laws about this (or can you?) but at least we can shame those mainstream media and gov who are doing it to stop doing. They know exactly what they are doing and we all need to make them stop.
3) Stop the assaults by gov on the Second Amendment. I would go so far as to amend the 2A, adding to it to further clarify that no other federal firearms laws can be made. Some mass shooters are doing it because they want the 2A overturned
4) Get rid of the foreign gov shills on our internet. I don't have the answer how to do it but let's find one. They are pretending to be Americans and intentionally inciting racial, ethnic, political, other violence. This exists everywhere public discussion is allowed and is especially problematic at places like 8chan.

Chinese population 1.5 billion.514 000schools with 260 million students. approx. 90 teachers and students killed in attacks. All knife attacks, except 1 shooting.
US population - 334 million.131 000schools with 77 million students. approx 236 teachers and students killed in attacks.
You have to take into account that the schools in China do not have armed security presence, like the US.
The fact is that a man with a knife can be flatlined by one shot from the security guard, the weak incel can be taken out with a ****ing chair to his head by a teacher. Whereas as history has shown, a perpetrator armed with an automatic weapon can overpower the security guards and would surely make the teachers piss their pants (even the granny who's teaching history, finished her military boot camp with flying colors and is carrying a Benelli M4 under her summer dress).
A sharp object can injure one person at a time, bullet can kill many. You can run away from a man with a knife, you can't outrun a 7.62. You can hide from a knife, a bullet will even find you through a locked door. Common logic.

Mass shootings are ugly, and people really respond to them emotionally, but I think if mass shootings are someone's justification for more gun control they are missing the forest for the trees. Mass shootings make up a tiny fraction of firearm related deaths. Suicide is actually the largest portion, followed by non-mass shooting homicides. Accidental gun deaths occur more frequently than mass shootings.

-individuals with a criminal history, mental disorders, alcohol or substance abuse are denied the right to own a weapon
-individuals have to be certified/trained/ or a member of a government-approved gun club to own a weapon.
-Firearms have to be securely stored in approved containers and police can come to check (usually they give you a 2 day notice they will come)
-In some countries, there are restrictions on how much ammunition you can have.
So basically you have to have no criminal background; must be of sound mind, no alcohol or drug abuse, no history of mental illness (I'm not sure how they find out), and you absolutely must have training/pass a test/pass a written exam before owning a gun.

We can’t, no such thing as peace until Jesus comes back. Such is reality of life. In the last days people’s love will grow cold so this is expected. People don’t realize this is a spiritual warfare. No amount of laws or enforcements will change anything except take law abiding citizen’s freedom away. The government loves to instill fear on citizens to gain more control.
Ban public schools so parents can spend time with their children and do some parenting instead of chasing after money. Sad how most parents spend more time with coworkers than their own children. Then the public school system brainwashes children into God hating, evolution cultists, ******** and ***** dependent failures.

-raise age to buy long gun to match age to buy hand gun
-private party sales: seller must provide proof of background check on buyer to have gun unregistered from their name

Put a father in every home.
Do away with the homo shyt
And no everyone isn’t special
Kids who grow up realizing this will never shoot up a school. I promise.

ban ALL guns
ban ALL gun parts + accessories
roll M2 Bradley's down suburban neighborhoods and execute all resistance to confiscation (most cucks won't have explosives to resist)
no one cares about rural resistance just drop a 500 lb bomb on their house and be done with
regulate CNC machines + 3D printers + track the parts used to make them
regularly audit ALL machine shops
secure the southern border with defenses that would shame the Berlin Wall or Korea's 38th parallel
check EVERY single international package for prohibited goods
mass surveillance of all communication via artificial intelligence
kill or capture raids on all suspected terrorists (execute them immediately without trial to avoid risk of violence)
finally, enjoy the utopia we have created
