I am from the Netherlands. It's not as bad as you say lol. The farmers have been protesting for years peacefully, but government didn't listen to them back them. Now regulations are getting closer so the farmers are getting more desperate. They blocked some highways and distribution centers. Not a total collapse lol

During covid our cabinet "fell" but was still in power. We voted last year and literally the exact same people are back in place lol. I agree with the general consensus itt that it is WEF planning and it is not about the climate but about power and control of the farmers land. The regulations are about animals, their reasoning is that when cow chit and piss come in contact some kind of nitrogen acid is created that destroys the local environment. Therefor the farmers have to half their livestock, which will probably put them out of business (economics of scale), and will be bought up by the government.

The farmers currently are exporting about 80% of their product so the empty shelves didn't happen because they went on strike or anything, but because they blocked some distribution centers of supermarkets. I also think the blocking of highways is dumb, because a lot of people 70%+ support the farmers, but when you create a traffic jam as a protest it doesn't really hurt the government but more the people that just want to get to their jobs. And will lose some support base. Instead they should do what they did earlier and protest harder against the politicians. They did go to a politicians house tho.

What will happen in the future is hard to say. I think this government will not stop following the WEF agenda. The top politicians are heavily tied to WEF look up mark rutte and sigrid kaag. I think the laws will be pushed through and I hope the farmers will do everything in their power to stop it but I don't know if they're able to.
