today's churches and religion are all about trying to make $$$.

they do nothing to help their people. When was the last time a church gave a sermon on the evils of eating sugar and financial responsibility? Never.

They're useless. Only good thing they have is summer bbqs.

So, there's a bad guy but maybe he is bad for some unknown reason and then ten years from now the bad guy will be enlightened and become a great guy. However, Jesus says that if someone is doing something to you that you don't like, you are supposed to stick with them to influence them to change. So, we aren't supposed to just do nothing.

Anyway, I think these ideas are nice but they are also troublesome. I think they are what stopped Catholics from exposing ****s in their group.

It's tough to be a loving and accepting person.

Catholicism is the only valid version of Christianity. People need hierarchy to organise at any level and St Peter was the first pope appointed by Jesus which set the foundation of the only sustainable hierarchy through Christianity which is the Catholic church

Catholicism is actually an Italian perversion of Christianity.

It's a mix of the ideas of Plato about how to run a society, which is a counsel of philosophers/priests, mixed with the ancient Roman pantheon of gods, which is now the Saints.

Italians are very narcissistic people and made up all of that crap because they couldn't let go of their old beliefs.

In addition, they weaponized Christianity to make it violent. On top of that, Jesus said not to go to church, not to dress up in fancy clothes, etc and Italians violated all of that.

Italians are violent and selfish people, that's why ancient Rome was the way it is, and so they took Christianity and perverted it.

When Pope John Paul went to Haiti he found that the people there mixed Catholicism with voodoo. He didn't like it, which is ironic.

1 Cor 6:9, Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men.

Romans 1, Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.

Jesus also tells the disciples to not toss their pearls before swine. Is that not in itself a judgement? You have to acknowledge that certain people are swine and therefore not worthy of the pearls of heaven.

What you are talking about seems to be pretty close to enabling and excuse making, or making the narrow path wider, leading to destruction. While loving the sinner is not wrong, enabling and excuse making their behavior without being that salt and light, is not in line with the bible.

Much of that is quoted out of context which is what idiots and evil people do with the Bible.

The pearls before swine comment is directly taken from a section of Matthew about NOT JUDGING PEOPLE.

Jesus says that it is a sin, equal to murder, to think negative thoughts about other people.

He also says that you have until death to repent.

Corinthians is Paul speaking. In what you quoted he saying homosexuals aren't going to heaven and so on.

If you take into account what Jesus says, that means homosexuals and sinners have until death to repent and if they don't then they do not go to heaven.

Thus, since humans cannot read minds, we have no idea who is about to repent and who is not. God does know that and it's not our job to presume the spiritual state of people.

I am not Christian but I see the wisdom in all of that because it's true even if god isn't real.
