Several Taiwan media outlets reported that U.S. House of Representatives Speaker NancyPelosi will visit Taiwan on Tuesday, citing unidentified sources.

China has warned that its military would never “sit idly by” if Pelosi were to visit Taiwan, the self-ruled island claimed by Beijing.

I agree with you but if we start flattening cities, they arent going to sit idly by. They have a significant nuclear capabilities and their cyberwarfare capabilities are serious threat.

Cyberwarfare is their only trump card imo, that could really do a number on our energy grid.

U.S. lawmakers arrive in Taiwan with China tensions simmering

A delegation of U.S. lawmakers arrived in Taiwan on Sunday for a two-day trip during which they will meet President Tsai Ing-wen.

It was the second high-level group to visit while there are military tensions between the self-ruled island and China.

The de facto U.S. embassy in Taipei said the delegation is being led by Senator Ed Markey, who is being accompanied by four House lawmakers.

Chinese are doing drills around Taiwan on permanent basis, that is effectively naval blockade of Taiwan. So much about "nothing will happen"

Additionally, they are ending bilateral agreements with the USA one after another.

I guess WW3 is better now than later; now while US military power is high vs China [and others] compared to later.

US mil power may wane in 20 yrs whereas China, Iran, North Korea would be a lot stronger in 20 yrs.

Also Russia's, Iran's, North Korea's, and China's secret nuke programs need to be destroyed sooner rather than later.

So do it now is probably the highest level thinking on it all.

The US could and should take the oil and gas fields of the Middle east and Venezuela pretty soon bc that's (2/3 of known global oil) gonna make a hugemongous difference down the road. Territorial integrity and Security Council obligations are effectively no longer in effect thanks to Russia so we don't have to worry about that issue any longer. The US mil already has the experience for the Middle East and Venezuela won't be too bad either.

USA needs to be destroyed sooner rather than later.

Do you really think China would go to war with one of its largest importers of goods ( The US)? We are essentially the foundation/backbone to china's 21st century economy.

If it came down to it China would choose the US over Russia, they can not replace our market for their goods. Their people are basically 3rd world now, imagine without the US buying everything.

Surely you don’t wish death on the civilians in the greatest and most powerful nation to perish right? You just don’t like us leadership. But would you welcome millions of innocent Americans be destroyed in the process of Americas downfall?

Anyway. So many third world countries rely on America for everything. Technology, food, medicine, foreign aid, etc.

If America were destroyed it would blast the rest of the world back into the Stone Age. The world would simply not flourish without us. Arrogant, prideful to say maybe but it’s the truth.
