I have 4 married friends who I'm close enough to to know the inner workings of their marriages.

None of them have gotten divorced, but it's dead set on 50/50 happy vs. miserable. Choose wisely.

I've noticed the ones that made a connection by partying and/or always doing things with other couples in their dating years are the ones that aren't happy. It's easy to seem like you like the person when you're constantly surrounded by others who can distract you from the fact that you probably don't.

Social media - the more they post and depict a 'perfect' life, the more you can bank it's fuked up.

On marriage - you can do it but take your time. Sow your wild oats, get it out of your system. If you do get married, find a good woman. Someone loyal and not overly demanding. Keep the relationship even and fair. Be a good husband. Compromise. Have sex 3/week every week she's not bleeding. Learn what her triggers are, all women have them, and avoid them. Find out what yours are if you do not know, all men have them too, and openly communicate. Do not get married because you think you have to do it, get married because you want to do it and want a family. If you do not want a family, do not get married.
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

lmao this

Even if your GF banged 50 dudes, you wouldn't leave. If you would - you wouldn't be bragging about how much you'd leave.

People who are coping about married miscers are definitely the cucks in a relationship.

Don't marry a white woman. Every Latina I've been with has been nigh-insatiable. Honestly, not terrible with white women too, I think you just have to make a conscious effort to make sure they're climaxing once, twice or more if you can.

I have been happily married for 23 years, and I give the same advice. I had absolutely zero doubt it was right for me. If you have any doubt at all, don't do it. Whatever you are doubting will never go away. Similarly, if anyone is ever asking whether divorce is the right option for them, the answer is already yes.

It's not a disease in the sense of caused by a pathogen, but it does get to a point where a person cannot control it and it is no longer just a lifestyle choice. There is no reason to shame and blame alcoholics (or any addicts) any more than there is a reason to shame and blame smokers who get cancer. No one wants to be an addict or becomes an addict on purpose.

I'm 50 now and most of my friends are divorced, a few as many as three times.

One couple were each others first time and have stayed happily married and love Jesus. The rest were sluts and are divorced alchoholics now.

One friend was a total degenerate and kind of a sociopath when we got old enough to start liking girls. He would target knows naughty girls with daddy issues so he could take his turn with them. He is on his 4th wife now and is an alchoholic and she is a whale.

My other white trash friends have a dysfunctional marriage where they are not faithful to each other and their hot blond daughter is already a turbo sloot bisexual since she was about 13. Mudshark, too.

One divorced friend has been sober for a few years since he got his 3rd DUI and didnt like prison, but he is broken and depressed.

Some other friends from college are both alchoholics and divorced, but have done OK since they divorced. It was good for them. Their daughter looks like them, but their son looks excatly like anoher friend of ours. there were rumors there...

So all my old childhood friends who are of a lower class of people are divorced and miserable, but the more conservative ones are doing OK.

Actually yes, a lot of people I know (not necessarily friends) are going through the early stages of divorce. Pretty crazy how common it is these days.

As I've gotten older I have realized this is not only true for relationships, but friendships as well.

So many 'best friends' I grew up partying with through my 20's I quickly realized I didn't enjoy at all once we were too old to be doing those activities. Completely different views on the world and what we find stimulating. Partying/clubbing was our aligned goal so it was never apparent (get fuked up, find girls to bang, get jacked).

I cannot imagine being in a relationship with somebody only to feel similar once the primary activity shifts.

I recently watched Lex Fridman interview ex CIA spy. One thing he said he learned about human nature is every single person longs for human connection. Loneliness sucks. People would rather be together with the wrong person than be alone.

To answer your question OP, most of my friends actually got married in the last 2-3 years. And to be honest, I would never say this to them, but I can already predict some of them divorcing in the not-too-distant future.

I would say out of the 5 recent marriages in my friend circle, only 2 of them are what I would predict as long-lasting... AKA they made the right decision.

The others? Not so much. They felt pressure to get married even though there's clear long-lasting issues within their relationship. I guess once you get into your late 20s/early 30s, the pressure to "do the right thing" mounts. Even if the relationship is full of arguments, power plays, or just straight up lies/deceit/jealousy, etc.

Well yes and wealthy people cheat as well, sometimes even more so since they have younger women who want a sugar daddy, which is what I suspect with many of these situations as they suddenly have a girlfriend or boyfriend when the news of the divorce comes out. I'm just saying they aren't trailer trash low income people.

I also remember you once posting about how you saw no issues with women who barely ever have sex with their husbands and normalizing the idea of married couples having minimal amounts of sex together.

Nope. Most people I know just become a single mom.

Divorce is growing because many people lack the skill to communicate, some never give up their greed, social media causes a lot of people issues, people marry someone that they truly don’t match and ignore all of the red flags, etc. I’ve seen people marry someone within two months of dating. It’s idiotic. You should know the person better and see if you can even handle any of their quirks/flaws.

Edit: I personally don’t believe in divorce unless the spouse is a beater and cheater.

Come to the. Inclusion the only way to prevent a woman from leaving or cheating is to put fear in her. Most of the marriages I see that are working are only working because the woman knows if she leaves she will be beaten or killed as well as the new guy.
