Financially, the only way Twitter can survive is with govt support. Elon had to know this when he bought it.

Everyone should proceed with caution in thinking that musk will change or expose anything.

He may just be another bill Barr—someone who says the right things but does the exact opposite.

I'm not sure why you think Dems controlled Twitter. They have MSM under lock and key, and Twitter already had lefties everyone. They didn't need to do a thing

I guess to me, these files show why the Left have gone insane over Musk buying Twitter. It shows that Big Tech is heavily to the Left, and using their influence to help them.

Seems like a nothingburger so far.

This forum can delete posts at will, I do not see a first amendment issue. Twitter could open itself up to violating it's own policies and damaging reputations or lost revenue but I don't know the twitter terms well enough to say there's a civil case there.

I haven't read through the full twitter thread but it seems like they heavily influenced an election in one party's favor. That's a pretty big deal imo

Both Trump and Biden had tools to ask Twitter to shutdown stories. The Biden laptop story was requested to be shutdown, and appears to be shutdown.

We don't know if any Trump stories were shutdown, so can you say they influenced the election in one party's favor without all the facts?

I don't see the implication of a company censoring stories in general; BB.com does the same thing, even 4chan. We all knew the Hunter laptop was being censored/discredited for years, so I see nothing groundbreaking here.
