Ohio is deep red, of course they don't get aid after Buttigieg sprays them with toxic chemicals

So if FEMA turns down a request for a legitimate issue like this, directly caused by an ineffective, worthless Federal government, that means the people of Ohio don't have to pay income tax anymore, right?

A Biden administration official told Fox News Digital that it has provided extensive assistance to surrounding communities following the chemical release earlier this month in eastern Ohio. However, the official said the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the agency that usually provides relief to communities hit by hurricanes and other natural disasters, isn't best equipped to support the state's current needs.

I've asked this a couple times already, what exactly is needed?
Then maybe instead of this being a joke thread bitching about Biden we can discuss what should be done and who should do it.

On January 16, 2016, President Obama issued an emergency declaration for the State of Michigan and ordered Federal aid to supplement state and local response efforts due to the emergency conditions in Flint, Michigan, affected by contaminated water. The President's action authorized the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to provide water, water filters, water filter cartridges, water test kits, and other necessary related items; assistance with those commodities has been extended through August 14, 2016.

It qualifies by definition....
"What qualifies as a FEMA disaster?
Any occasion or instance--such as a hurricane, tornado, storm, flood, tidal wave, tsunami, earthquake, volcanic eruption, landslide, mudslide, snowstorm, fire, explosion, nuclear accident, or any other natural or man-made catastrophe--that warrants action to save lives and to protect property, public health, and safety"

Is there a water shortage though? Don't want to repeat what happened in Puerto Rico with a bunch of it left to rot at the end of a runway.

We have endless billions to spend on Ukraine and throwing a little $$ to this disaster area is asking too much.
A country that wants to take care of itself will take the steps necessary to do so. We do not have leaders that are exercising care over this nation, they are letting it fail intentionally.
Our country has accomplished incredible things in its past, our politicians today after limp and powerless as if they can't do anything to make it better. But on the term of a dime, they can throw endless financial resources at Ukraine.
It's a joke. The sooner Democrats get on board with a populist movement to go against this corruption instead of backing establishment hacks, the better.
Trump wouldn't have let this slide and you all damn well know it.

And I don't know how much water they actually need considering we haven't been getting appropriate coverage on this, but it's obvious from the videos I have seen, and from the many statements from locals, that the water is most definitely not safe to drink, at least in East Palestine.
Edit - the article says they gave out 150 cases of water. A case of water typically consists of 24 bottles. That would be 3600 bottles of water. East Palestine has a population of 4,718, so that's less than 1 bottle per person.

I guess Trump could have tossed out some paper towels, but at one point Trumpers were ecstatic about rolling back 100 EPA regulations and all the others that were holding back the economy. He didn't walk the talk.

What assistance was asked for in this case?
Do they need bottled water and filters? Cause I guarantee no one will miss the photo op of a few trucks of it rolling into town if so.
I'll be honest if you will.
