Last week I tried booking an oil change online for my company rental F150 XLT and got a call back in about 5mins from the dealership, but instead of confirming the appointment they tried selling me another F150 and now they won't stop calling.

Can you have the supercharger added directly thru Ford? If so I might call and see if it can be added at the factory. Can always add the supercharger after delivery though, and I'm really considering it.

I've always been a Ford guy. And it'll be a company truck, and our fleet is all Ford. Would have went with the Raptor, but everybody wanted over sticker for one, and my local dealership who would get me one said their next allocation would have been next year. And also it's kind of a pain that you can't run a Raptor thru a car wash, wasn't a deal breaker for me, but will be nice that I can just run the Platinum thru.

That being said, most likely I'll drive it stock for awhile, and depending on how it goes I might add the supercharger later.

Roush used to do it back in the day.

Got tired of waiting and needed a new truck. So found one on a lot and picked one up. Star white platinum, fx4 with the two tone leather. Looks super clean. Picking it up tomorrow.

Won't stand out quite as much as the one I had optioned out, but I think that's probably a good thing. And I like this interior better than the all black.

I had a 2013 Raptor and they are 6 inches wider . Not an issue except in the bush at times

Raptors are awesome, especially the new Raptor R. They had a platinum and a raptor on the website when I found the one I picked up today. The raptor was already spoken for, or I might have got it. But I'm happy with what I got.

The 2013 Raptor was highly rated, but not without issues . Every time you hit a bump there’s a clucking noise in the truck .
I looked at the manual and the first thing it says is not to take the truck in for warranty work,as this noise is normal and caused by the fox shocks .
Another thing I didn’t like was the steering . I find it’s tougher to steer with the factory 35” all terrain tires , as it seemed to wander too much , especially on ash fault that has had a lot of traffic on it .
Others tried driving it and didn’t notice , but I found it annoying.
My 2016 Lariat is much better and steers perfectly imo . I like the heated steering wheel also, as my raptor didn’t cone with that option .
