Probably not. If a person lacks empathy and is what people would call overly selfish or even evil, then they aren't going to be inclined to follow the rule of a celestial governor anyways.
Religion is probably a byproduct of a civilized society because a civilized society will tolerate how people want to try to understand folk metaphysics and their place in the universe.

I think so yes. I think the constitution got it right though. We don't want government pushing religion top down because that leads to even more corruption. But it was absolutely written based on Christian principles and that's exactly why the woke atheist religion has waged war on the constitution. I think we need to legitimize the woke religion as an actual religion so we can purge it from schools and institutions.

I've already absolutely demolished this argument before.
Atheism is absolutely, 100%, without a doubt, dysgenic behavior.
Atheism appeals to ugly people, manlets, and spiritually corrupt demons.
We know for a fact strong men create a healthy and good society and weak men destroy it.
Nothing creates stronger men than religion. Again, proven without a shadow of a doubt by reality. The best MMA fighters, boxers, thaiboxers wrestlers, any and all combat athlete/fighters throughout history have been men of religion. Ugly manlet atheistcels cannot get past this reality.
So do you want a society with strong men to create safe and prosperous civilization? Then you want religion.
Do you want a society filled with weak, limp wristed, spineless, coward, weasel ****g0ts like wincel, lightsarefallen, ironmanlet, kev1972, where it inevitably turns into clown world? NEVER.
Stop debating this and use your eyes and pattern recognition ability. Just LOOK all around you and NOTICE what the average atheist looks like -- short, ugly, weak, dysgenic. Do these ****g0ts look like they give a phukk about the health of society? Fukk no.

Do not judge according to appearance but judge righteous judgment -John 7:24.
There is nothing in the Constitution regarding the separation of church and state. Seperation of Church & State was never in the Constitution. It was in a letter that Jefferson wrote to the Danberry Baptist Church in Connecticut because the church felt the first amendment was not strong enough to protect religious freedom. Jefferson assured them that the Constitution built a wall separating the church & State, meaning the State could not control the Church. It means the exact OPPOSITE of what you & many others misuse it for
In fact, every single state Constitution makes explicit references to God & religion.
I posted up above what happens to society when you remove God. When you take away the forceable punishment of eternal consequences, and teach a child they are nothing but animals, (literally) they will act accordingly..see society now.
BTW, everywhere Christianity has gone it has elevated women, everywhere it has not, they are thought of second class citizens, slightly above dogs.

The constitution doesn’t explicitly state that rights are only granted to christian people and it uses the words like “god given” very loosely and passively for this reason. It’s intended to be interpreted that these are the basic human rights of all people divined by the universe and natural law whether you believe in a Christian god or the Flying Spaghetti Monster.
Whether you like it or not the first amendment applies to everyone and even most religious people agree with this.
As far as indoctrinating children that’s a very different discussion. I think it’s disingenuous you’re comparing the disgusting grooming that’s going on in some super liberal areas propped up by politicians to telling kids that it’s okay to not be religious to prove a point.
I could go as far as to argue the common sense moral that we have today that children can’t consent to anything isn’t even rooted in Christianity. Age of consent isn’t even mentioned anywhere in the Bible to my knowledge and my dad forced me to go to church with him after he became a believer in my teens.
For every picture you show me of a disgusting “godless” degenerate society I can show you one of Iraq or Afghanistan of dead kids with bombs strapped to their chest or beheaded, bride burnings , American soldiers blown to bits with their guts flung everywhere , etc.
Ah yes , religious theocraticies. They’re beautiful aren’t they ? (Not srs)
If it wasn’t for the writings of John Locke the US constitution and DOI wouldn’t have even been written. The British crown was a divine right religious monarchy.
What you’re arguing for is literally what the founding fathers fought against in the first place despite some of their personal beliefs. You’re just interpreting it to fit your narrative.
John Locke doesn’t believe Christianity should be pushed on everyone despite him being a believer so why the hell would you ?
No government body or agency has a “divine” right to tell people how they have to live their lives. That’s literally what the British Crown argued when the 13 colonies where practically their slaves.

Shows a huge decrease in crime from 1985. You can go through and run the numbers and see how it is compared to 1950. Also reminder that long ago, more crimes went unreported and enforcement was lax.
Here's also just homicide rates.

God has a Divine right, and that is all that matters. If you are going to argue that we as a society are better off not practicing and obeying the Law of God, than you need to demonstrate that and show the comparison. I've posted several figures/graphs in support of my argument..do you have any figures that reflect your argument?

Warrior culture cannot exist without religious culture. They go hand in hand, all throughout human history. One does not exist without the other.
This is why religion makes the ugly, weak, manlets, cowards, spineless, limpwristed ****g0ts recoil so much. They inherently know that religion goes against their nature. Against their genes. So they rebel against it. It's a coping mechanism for the fact that they got fukked over by Mother Nature.
Try to imagine yourself a country or society without a warrior culture and you will quickly see how quickly it devolves into clown world. Warrior culture/Strong men keep degeneracy in check. Always has and always will. This is why degenerate atheists can't stand strong men/religion.

The Church imposed its will on common people, forced them to believe, scared them, sometimes abused them, while the top Church brass hobnobbed with Kings and played politics.

Illogical and irrational claims.

Say, ˹O believers,˺ We believe in Allah and what has been revealed to us; and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and his descendants; what was given to Moses, Jesus, and other prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them. And to Allah we all submit.

Since the dawn of humanity, long before The Church's existence, the strongest, most alpha, men, the warrior class, the fighter, the soldier, have all been historically religious.
The Vikings worshipped Odin and Thor
The Spartans worshipped Artemis and Athena
The Romans worshipped Jupiter
The Aztec worshipped Huitzilopochtli
The Mongols worshipped Tengri
The Samurai worshipped Hachiman
etc., etc., every corner of the world.

Be consistent...you are a byproduct of the time and place you are living in. You are saying that if your society wasn't good then God must hate you? Good luck if you lived during the time of Jesus then if he brought such good teaching yet no one followed him. Brb only follow God if my society is doing well.
2:136
Say, ˹O believers,˺ We believe in Allah and what has been revealed to us; and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and his descendants; what was given to Moses, Jesus, and other prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them. And to Allah we all submit.
