No I don't care about that. I've never trained in that type of gym and I'm looking for honest feedback about the equipment, free weights, etc... Serious lifter here so maybe this thread doesn't apply to you...

It depends i seen videos of PF's where they got barbells.. the one here near me has smith machines and dumbells up to 75 i think mostly machines . but for 10 dollars a month, you cant really beat it if its close to you and you dont feel like making a long drive. i pay 50 dollars a month for NYSC but it's two floors, tons of power racks and free weights, pool, sauna and steam room. place is huge

One of the best things about Planet Fitnes and Crunch being in town is that other gyms are lowering their membership prices now. Tru-Fit is ten bucks a month now.

Hate it. Gym full of zoomers and ****uettes. Dumb bells only go up to like 55, and theres no bars to speak of.

not where I live. They were only open 7am-8pm

In a pinch it gets the job done but its by no means a permanent place to workout.

-dumbbells only go up to about 70lbs

-no barbells everything is machines

-no squat racks just 2 smith machines

-and even though they have an app that allows you to scan in to workout, pay membership fees etc, the only way to close your account is to go into the office to request it where they will then proceed to badger you into signing up for special discounted promotions, and to give them a second chance.

Planet for me is great for traveling because they have locations everywhere. I would not use this as my home club though. But as a secondary club for traveling it’s great.
I'm surprised they even have a planet fitness in India.
