IMO, there is little to differentiate Republican and Democratpoliticians. They are for the large part actors who play a part, which is to say things that people who generally vote for their party want to hear. I think most Republicanpoliticiansare psychopaths, personally, despite having somewhat more in common with Republican voters (beyond the blind patriotism, overt racism, xenophobia, blind loyalty to police, etc, things you are more likely to see on the right). Not saying Republican voters are all fat racist migrant-hating slobs, mind you, just that the stereotype exists for a reason and, again will note - this is the side I lean more towards and I am strongly against racism and generally opposed to xenophobia.

Anyway, Republican politicians are the worst. Liars, frauds, scumbags, criminals and they pander to these voters, while taking money from Google or whoever, making themselves rich. I think they quietly loath their voting base, they hate them and do not like that they have to pretend for them in public. I am 100% certain in private someone like Romney or Graham has nothing but bad things to say about Republican voters -- they probably sound like Sillie or Pat. It has to bother them they must put on an act to placate thse people they hate, and I'm sure the scumbags on the Left are the same; although watching someone like Biden shill for trannies and things for his entire life has thought were mentally ill freaks, that he now acts like are the best thing ever, he might be laughing when the cameras are off.

This might be why I have less of a problem with Trump than some on the right. He is upfront a narcissist. He isn't Lindsay Graham pretending to be a Southern Gentleman definitely not gay straight conservative, he is a loud, obnoxious New York yank who is a ruthless businessman.

Even if that were entirely true, all of the advancement that got society to that point was achieved by progressive minded people.
