So far as I can tell "the science" may initiated by some actual research. If "the science" supports a story that it will be useful to promote then that science becomes "settled science" and anyone who questions it or tries to poke holes in it will be ridiculed and won't get funding for their research.

We have been told lots of stuff was "bad" or is "good" depending on who profits.

- is this a thing that is actually happening?

- are we dead certain about what mechanism is causing this thing to happen?

- can we interrupt this mechanism? [is it possible? can we get enough cooperation?]

- should we in fact do so?

- what are the other effects the acts of interruption may have?

You don't have to be a physicist or a chemist to believe that human climate manipulation:
