Looks like sh!t. You also dont need your TV exactly at eye level when sitting. I have a 75" and it would look retarded so low. I have it on an arm that puts the TV at a slight angle down. (Super Ded fkn Srs)

You guys are exaggerating, it’s a 43” it’s decently big. You’re acting like it’s a 24”

Huge tv’s are a very recent thing. Average tv in 1998 was 23”, today it’s over 50”.

TV is correct height. Shorten cables, cable tie them, hide behind TV, route the rest through the wall, or even just in coving or something.
A positive start OP

Decent boyo but goddamn I forgot how small a 42 looks. Got a 60 & 70 when I last moved and I'll never look back. Find a good deal and upgrade so chicks you bring over can actually see/enjoy whatever you watch

Think about how high the tv would be on a tv stand. That’s perfect viewing height.

Looks good, but the cables hanging out from the TV is messy. Straighten them out and get some molding to cover it up.

Not sure how old the OP is, but WAY better than my first apartment. I had tv on cinder blocks in my first apartment. And that was the only furniture in the place. I made a bed out of 2x10's and some girl gave me her waterbed bladder since her cat was constantly making leaks in it. I just had to patch the holes first!

Looks like Jesse's from Breaking Bad setup lol, and he was like 19 and a meth addict.
"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."
