Although we disagreed on AoT the other day. I checked out Psycho Pass after seeing your list. Binged the first two seasons and it was pretty good. Second season wasn't as good as the first though.

Kinda hard to put DBZ into the same bandwagon as AOT and Demon Slayer in general tbh.

DBZ is super lighthearted a lot of the time, especially during the filler moments (~38 filler episodes). AOT and Demon Slayer are intense and serious 99% of the time otherwise, no filler episodes.

DBZ had 291 episodes (also it is a sequel to an entire series, and has had two following series' and tons of movies and video games). AOT had 88, DS will probably have like 90-100.

Dragonball's first episode came out in 1986... almost no other anime has lasted 37 years. Granted there were gaps.

Not gonna get all weeb, Googled to get some of the above numbers and chit. But my overall point is this is a wider gap than comparing apples and oranges, it's more like apples and beans. One is a flashy memorable fad with a short shelf life, the other is a persistently long lasting heap of nutrition. And the dragonball universe has existed for so long, with periodic movies/shows/games, impacting young adults/kids from all generations between the '80s to now. Calling it one of the worst is dumb, especially if you gave the freeza saga and android/cell saga an honest shot.

Dragon Ball Z manga is superior to the anime. Read the full color version. It only becomes **** halfway through Dragon Ball Super or at the start of it. The moment Toriyama got rid of power levels was when it stopped making any sense. Up until then the power levels were consistent and the characters actively hid their Ki and could tell the power levels of their opponents even without the scouters. You knew that if a character's power level was 24,000, then he was going to get rekt by someone with 30,000. The Z warriors were one of the few exceptions, because they could raise the Ki of their attacks beyond their power level to be able to hurt someone with a higher power level.

Movie Pan is superior to DB GT and has potential for an interesting storyline. Too bad that cuck Gohan is too obsessed with becoming a "scholar" to properly teach his daughter how to fight. Once again, Piccolo is the father figure to one of Goku's family members, lol.



It's hilarious that Pan is actually 3 years old here. That's 1 year younger than Gohan was when Piccolo started training him. Next they'll have babies out of the crib soloing the Gods.

didn't watch the other shows.

though i liked Heroic Age, afro samurai, and Black butler quite a bit.

The story is gay and boring. The characters all look the same. The “messages” and “theme” are repetitive and dumb. It’s made for 12-year-olds and gay homers.
