Saw trailers for the first one and thought the animation style looked annoying. But even if it didn't, been sick of superhero bullsh!t anyway, since way back to X-Men and Toby Spiderman days.

This was my point. IDGAF what color they make the character. I just think it is wild black ppl are going out to see a movie for babies solely because the main character is black.

With that said, I feel like I should apologize to BBMG. If you want to watch a cartoon in theaters, that is totally fine and there is no reason for anyone to have an issue with it - its not like you are hurting anyone. If they made an Attack on Titan movie, I would probably see it in theaters (granted, AOT movie would not exactly be made for babies).

Man, people really need to get off that horse of animated productions being cartoons and for kids. There are just some things that animation can pull off due to being a more flexible medium than live action.

It would be like saying that Avengers is for kids because it uses visual effects, which is just very realistic looking drawings.

Or video games are for kids, which are all realistic drawings.

If your cinema experience is limited to only Martin Scorsese and Quentin Tarantino productions then fair enough, you avoid everything that could be taken as being infantile.

Just watched it. I'm a big Ghost-Spider fan, so I was happy Gwen had a LOT more to do. And it was cool seeing all the variations like Scarlet-Spider and Spider-Man Unlimited. The Venom thing was funny. Can't wait for part II.
