Update on my injury ... I took the pupper for a small walk wearing hiking boots and I was shocked that i could actually put weight on it. Still hurts, but I was afraid of having to limp. I also, after much difficulty, found my compression sleeve, and the fancy $20 foot zanger that I can wear all the time. So good news all around.
