“So even for a practical, supposedly hard-nosed businessman, he’s being really dumb to do this.”

Trump intentionally made enemies of the most powerful people in our government with zero plan. That's how this is different. Is that fair? No. But it's also crazy that no forethought went into this eventuality. It's why I said he was a lunatic for the "lock her up" chants against Hillary. It was always going to come back around.

Why would you think there's no plan? He already knew about the snake Schumer and the usual suspects but by being "indicted" for the millionth pointless time, it brings out the ones that have been hiding pretending to be on his side. People are seeing how they want to go after him only but when the tables are turned they should not be surprised or suddenly defend the others.

He will get back at them in full force.

Boy, that is going to make America better!!!!
The point is that I don't care if you're in private industry, local government, or federal government. If your plan is to topple the people in charge of your organization, you better have a strategy and the allies in place to make it possible.

I understand that's not fair or popular or whatever. But it's the way the world works.

I strongly disagree with the decision to charge a former president and political opponent in the middle of a campaign. But knowing how the game is played sure seems like a better option than just continuing to lose.

you really think 1 person is going to make that work in 4years? the system just keeps getting more and more powerful...at some point you need a martyr...and anyone that dares be one will obviously get the trump treatment. trump just happened to have a level of fame/age/wealth where he could step in not giving a fook

but trump did his job...he was a bucket of cold water to the face for people. he drove the divide so deep to where it needed to be...to the point where most can probably see that this country would be better split into two. you can't keep nursing something with politics as usual because the system gets too big to change.

It gets even worse when you realize your average CIA or FBI agent is just some guy making 80k probably up to his eyeballs in debt.

These are parasites. You think they were going to let some outsider realize they sit around and do fukin nothing all day while getting their salaries paid by middle class white people in Ohio????

I don’t know how we break this system up short of the states literally rolling their troops into DC an arresting every federal worker.
