All this talk about 'flexing' or bragging. While I put almost no value in external things, I DO take a lot of pride in my physique and strength and will never say otherwise. You simply dont put in this much time and effort over decades and not care about it. People can bust my balls all they want, but I dont care. Yes I am proud, and I dont mind saying it. I have put 25+ years into training.
So bragging about a car.....no. ANYONE can buy a car or any expensive toy. But you cant buy a physique that took decades of building. And no amount of drugs will allow you to get to the levels of strength that I have and STAY there while maintaining health along side. I am proud of that. Still wont stop people from hating, but they are just the type that would never understand what it means to dedicate yourself to a goal. And I dont just mean a few weeks or months.
Just got back from a week at the beach. A tan is like 3 months of progress in a week
. Did not quite get in the shape I wanted to for summer, but my own fault. Last night was leg day and I snapped this. I am sure it will draw comments from some, but most dont realize I have looked almost exactly the same for the past decade. Even before TRT. But haters gonna hate as you know.

I hope my son does not grow too fast though. We just bought him a new Alpine Stars FIA fire suit for this upcoming fall. This is not like out growing a pair of shorts
But we both have moved to full fire rated suits, gloves, balaclava...etc. We have passed beyond the hobby stage and both our cars will be running full fire suppression systems as well.

You're semi manlet status may make you insecure even if you don't completely realize it, which is why you make these posts and like to talk about yourself. To prove yourself to others because you are insecure about your height. It is probably why you work out so much as well. (I do too but am 6'1") Lots of shorter guys get big muscles to mtry and make up for their lack of height...very common psychological phenomena. And....you for sure have a narcissistic streak in you. I am not manlet status but I recognize what you are doing because I am much the same way.
Don't misinterpret me.....you have done very well for yourself and should be proud of that. And there is nothing wrong with talking about your accomplishments. So please do not think I am 'coming at you'. I am not. And as I said I see a lot of myself in you. I like to humble brag about things in my life and that probably goes back to me being an identical twin. Since I was a kid my twin and I were always compared to each other and I always felt as if I had to be better. Better golfer. Tennis player. Ping pong player. Bball player. Hockey player. Chess player. Whatever. Just had to be better than him. I still feel that to this day.
I say all this to just point out why some people may come at you for bragging or seem jealous/upset with you. I have learned that there is a fine line between being sincerely humble and someone that people genuinely like and want to be around and who people are happy for, and being insincerely humble......which usually involves a person talking a lot about all the things they have and how humble they are because it doesn't mean anything to them. And people can see right through that.
You definitely walk the line there. Again....not coming at you. Just making aware.
Anyway.....keep up the hard work and success. Great looking car, son, and physique. (no homers)

When you are an athlete performing at the level I was, you dont look at yourself and wish you were different. It was not until after an injury that ended my hockey career that I started to focus on externalities. That is when I started weight training. I then found out I was blessed with a great training response.
I have always liked who I was, but my competitive nature never allowed me to feel 'satisfied' with any accomplishment. That is something I learned later in life.
That part as well gets lost is the interface from a forum. In my real life, I dont talk about working out, I dont go around wearing tank tops. I mostly hide my physique in any business setting. Another thing I dont want to be defined by. Here it is a little different. I feel free to express my inner gym rat. Afterall, this is a place where people supposedly come to talk about working out...
Well not so much lately.I can see that I could come off as otherwise, but I am person that is driven by passion. My interactions on this forum are only a small part of who I am and certainly not reflective of me as a whole. But I get a lot out of this place. For the many bits of insults, I have guys reach out to me and say that I helped them. I have shared countless discussions with others and been able to share advice to guys. Knowing I might have helped someone is worth taking all the heat I do.
In life, what you dont realize is it could be VERY different for me. I could have easily fuked up the best things in my life, but I was lucky that I did not. I was a sh!tty husband and father in the beginning. I did not have any good role models on how to be a good husband or dad. I am lucky that my wife is a person of the character that she is. A lesser person would have just left me. I was focused on all the wrong things.
One thing I greatly enjoy sharing with others is the experiences that I have had. I have been though some crazy things and learned some great lessons. Some of them devastating at the time, but only made my life better in the long run. Sharing that is part of journey in my life. Hoping to see others find that place where they can become a better man, a better father, and better husband. I think I have walked a path that many would have thought was the goal. I walked away from that, and in the end found happiness I had never had. Lot of messages we get in life today. Tons of external pressures. Not much that tell you to focus on the most incredible thing, and that is happiness is always there in the present.

When we got home, I asked him of he wanted to take the 720 out buy himself for his first time driving as a licensed driver. Didnt take him long to say yes. Just told him to be careful and dont do anything stupid. (car has almost 1000hp). But I trust him. He went to his buddies and then rolled back home.
A little crazy yes....but in the end all we have are memories. When I see a chance to make some, I will always do it. Life is short. I feel super lucky I can share stuff like this with my son.
Nice thing is I can hear him coming back home from quite a distance away

Starting with we are close in ages. I am actually older than you and not just by a few months. This is me...taken last year. I have always tried to maintain a more athletic physique because of the many sports that I play rather than the more pure muscular route that you have.
BTW just as an aside....as oldsters we need to watch ourselves. I saw your pics and I thought you look older than you are because I can already see sun damage on your skin. Be careful. I take 20 grams of Vit C along with 8 grams each of lysine/proline along with lots of other supps every day to maintain my skin and looks. Lots of Korean supps as well as Koreans are obsessed with maintaining a youthful appearance. Plus my wife is Asian and they are all into that stuff. Most people are shocked at how old I am and think I am high 30s at most. Part of that is genetics but a big part are those supps and skin care.
I am pretty wealthy. I am a day trader and stock consultant. Regularly make 7 figs a year. Own a multi million dollar house in S Cal. Cottage in MI on a lake. Own some nice cars blah blah blah no one cares.
I was/am also a very very good athlete. Played HS and college tennis at a Big 10 U on scholarship. Was all city or all state in Bball, baseball, tennis. Am a +1 hndcp golfer. Played hockey from the time I could walk until after college on more traveling teams than I can count. I am currently a PBA pro averaging around 235 a game and have bowled in many pro tournies. Won a few regionals. Am good or very good at just about every sport there is from racquet ball to ping pong to skiing blah blah blah again no one cares about ANY of that.
My point for all of this is to just show why some may be taking your posts the wrong way, and who knows maybe you don't care...although I think you do. I know you mean well in your posts, with some humble brag mixed in of course haha, but again you have to be careful if you are not making these strictly to brag and DGAF because I can see why some are taking it that way. Maybe show the pics with less of a story behind every post? The pics speak a 1000 words. Great pics. But you REALLY like to talk/write haha.
Anyway again congrats on the success and good luck with the new car.

any advice for facial skin care. I have recently started washing my face twice a day, using retinol on day 1, and AHA/BHA on day 2. so far don't see much difference - AHA is worthless but BHA makes my skin smooth.

My skin regiment is this.
Supps....
Around 18 grams of Vit C a day. Divided into 3 doses. Most people only need 7 or 8 grams which is still 800% higher than the RDA and way more than most people take or eat. But humans are one of only 3 animals in the world that don't produce our own vit c and as a result we are way way undernourished in that. Don't worry anything your body doesn't use you just piss out. It is harmless. If you take too much you get diarrhea which is why lots of people use it as a cleanse.
5-6 grams a day of lysine and proline.
Zinc of course.
Biotin.
Collagen.
As for a skin treatment? You are doing well with the retinal. I use a daily mixture of a Korean skin moisturizer, vit C cream, and the most important thing imo....a simple sunscreen lotion with zinc oxide in it. Combine those 3 things and put it on your face before bed. IMO the zinc oxide is key. Sure it will be very white and kind of stay on your face all night, so if you have a girl over not a good idea haha. But when by yourself use it.....it really works. I have no wrinkles at all even at my age.
I also use a Korean eye cream which is really good. Gets rid of wrinkles and any bags.
I also use a LED light mask. I saw the very pretty K Drama actresses who are 45 but look 25 use it on some shows (it looks hilarious when you have it on) and it really works. 20 minutes a night and you are good to go.
And try to stay out of the sun or if you are in it use a hat. Sun is an age killer.

OP's threads always deliver. And then when people call him out he always puts things in a down to earth perspective, which actually seems genuine and insightful. So i like his mogg threads and definitely respect his hustle.
But he still wont answer how he would feel about Daddy's little girl dating a dinger. Bet there wouldnt be a brag thread about that, kek!
