I'll concede telling a firearm charged guy not to have firearms may be best for the public but he's still currently innocent. Why are you OK with a judge telling a currently innocent guy to get a job and he can't drink?

I asked your opinion.

You're OK with judges telling innocent people what they can and cannot do, even when unrelated to the case?
im assuming he is on bail, and he can be a part of bail restrictions.

I think everyone needs to recognize that, if you did what Hunter did, the DOJ would never offer you such a deal. The fact that democrats want to act like there isn’t a 2-tiered justice system is laughable.

You guys have got to read this thread in full:

Basically the immunity deal was thrown in the Diversion agreement because the Diversion agreement doesn't need to be signed off by the the judge. It was a total hoodwink move and the judge totally caught onto their bullshіt.

Reposting the attachments so it's easier to read. Weiss and Merrick Garland are corrupt af. They literally tried pulling a fast one on the judge. It seems like they were trying to hide the immunity deal from the judge. Paragraph 15 (the immunity deal) was not included with her copy of the Diversion agreement. They eventually provided her a copy, but it seems like she may have had to request it.

They basically were asking for a get out of jail free card. Seems to me this is either because they were overly confident with their political standing that the law would look the other way, or that they are extremely desperate to get all of the Hunter Biden crimes to go away as quickly as possible. Cavalier? Or a Hail Mary?

If he is given sweeping immunity, then the stuff that would really send the public crazy (foreign money, underage girls etc) doesn't have to ever be investigated, as he can't be charged for it.

It's like suspectimg somebody of being a serial killer, prosecuting them for shoplifting and then giving them immunity from any other charges. All done so that they don't have to investigate the murders.

The only reason that he was pleading guilty was to get the immunity deal.

This deal isn't about Hunter. Any real investigation of Hunter will inevitably lead to Joe. THAT is who this deal was protecting.

Its blatantly obvious that is what is going on. The real scandal is that the DOJ was going to take that deal before the judge stopped it. Remember when leftists used to hate government corruption? I remember.

The best part about the whole thing, is that the Judge is a Dem. So people can't complain that this is some republican judge witch hunt.

This. Which is why, when people say ‘impeach hunter’, they are willfully ignoring the main argument of the right-that Hunter is simply the bagman for the Biden family. They know that, of course, but lack the cognitive ability to come up with a logically-consistent defense.

So those people saying 'impeach hunter' are intentionally being deceptive? And they are choosing to be deceptive because they don't want crimes to be exposed that would hurt their political cause? They sound like pretty terrible people who don't care about the country.

Maybe we can get one of those people to explain why they are doing this and why they aren't terrible people. There must be another angle we are not seeing.

No mean tweets. These people would rather see the country turn into a banana republic than have to suffer another mean tweet again.

They're trying to make the case that since Hunter isn't president, that his crimes are his own and don't matter to the presidency. That he's just this administration's Billy Carter / Roger Clinton.

What they're (mostly willfully) ignoring is that Hunter's business dealings are tied to Joe.

incorrect.

this is proven.
that is why he was in custody.
because he broke the law and there is sufficient evidence.
hence the judge can dictate terms of release.

he is welcome to stay in prison.
Also "innocent" is a word that does not belong in a court house.
it is guilty or not guilty and there is more than sufficient evidence for him to be proven guilty.

that is why the defense is trying to cop a plea deal.

what i find strange is the way the judge is allowing this to drag out and didn't pee pee slap everyone involved with the shenanigans in the plea.
Almost seems like special treatment for the presidents son to me with a little cover your ass thrown in by not allowing the shenanigans.

Having a temporary restriction on owning firearms while you are on trial for a felony gun violation seems like a logical restriction.

Former Donald Trump and Rudy Giuliani Associate Lev Parnas reads from his exclusive letter to Rep. James Comer of the House Oversight Committee. His letter outlines Trump and Giuliani’s efforts to dig up dirt on the Biden family as well as their continued efforts to interfere with the highest levels of Ukrainian politics....
