350 bench at 160 is dope though, especially if it wasn’t powerlifting cope form

I only pull conventional. tried sumo for 1 week and injured my hip joint when I was younger.
the form just takes longer to learn which is why ***gots switch to sumo

Further evidence that you're capping about being lean at 220lbs.

go and pull 500lbs off the ground with no form and see what happens to your lower back

I’m sure if you start light and build it gradually your body will adapt but it looks too ph aggy

They’re saying you’re limiting your own lift because you’re using competing ROM and form. Fine if you’re competing since it counts, but for strength training, you’re better off going full ROM and limiting “cheating” form (so-to speak)
I’d rather see you do that with a regular form, but GJDM either way

it puts all the stress thats normally on your glutes and spinal erectors into your hip joint which only have a few tiny muscles to lift hundreds of pounds.

Like I said earlier, nothing gets my pecs more sore than this. And my pecs seem to be growing just fine benching this way
