lmao okay that says it all. I don’t care what a person lifts sumo, biggest cope lift

350 bench at 160 is dope though, especially if it wasn’t powerlifting cope form

I only pull conventional. tried sumo for 1 week and injured my hip joint when I was younger.

Have only sumo deadlifted twice and my hips were sore for a week

I’m sure if you start light and build it gradually your body will adapt but it looks too ph aggy

? Are you dumb or ignorant?

They’re saying you’re limiting your own lift because you’re using competing ROM and form. Fine if you’re competing since it counts, but for strength training, you’re better off going full ROM and limiting “cheating” form (so-to speak)

I’d rather see you do that with a regular form, but GJDM either way

ed coan had to get his hips replaced twice cause of sumo lol. davil laid injured his too

it puts all the stress thats normally on your glutes and spinal erectors into your hip joint which only have a few tiny muscles to lift hundreds of pounds.

Tucking your shoulder blades back, arching your back while keeping your butt on the bench, and using leg drive is the correct way to bench. Your shoulders, pec tendon and elbows will thank you for it

Like I said earlier, nothing gets my pecs more sore than this. And my pecs seem to be growing just fine benching this way
