Not sure about y'all, but I look at a gun as a tool. It's nothing more than a hammer or screwdriver.
Yes I considered that argument before I wrote mine. I don't have an exact answer as I'm not in that circumstance but you're right I wouldn't stop driving. That's also why nothing in my post was said to be a certainty

No, I am not manipulated by emotions or emotionally-based arguments.
Freedom of speech is a principle pillar of a free government; when this support is taken away, the constitution of a free society is dissolved and tyranny is erected on its ruins.

It wouldn't change my mind on guns.

It would, however, lead me to go to war with those who sponsor a culture of violence and victimhood.

There is seriously nothing scarier in this country than a level-headed, vengeful white dude with nothing to lose.

You miss the point captain obvious.

Can a 5'3 110lb woman defend herself from a 6'4 300lb man with a dinner fork.

Guns are tools used for protection that equalize physical disparities.

Since 1899 there has been 474 mil guns manufactured or imported into the US.

What the plan to remove those if the US went full cuck like those Nazi loving Canadians? LOL at people turning their guns in. Never go full retard

Gun control is the dumbest argument. Its worse then politics and religion. I can't believe I came down to your level and even replied.

This happened yesterday in my city where it was just before 5 PM in downtown and apparently one 15 year old and one 16 year saw each other from across the road and had a shootout with one another. They shot across 4 lanes of traffic at a time when people were getting off work or about to. One died and the other didn't.

Turning 2x their age this Thursday and it feels like such a damn waste. One dead and another going to go away for life, and for what? I got muh gunz. In countries where guns aren't glorified or viewed as a right of being a citizen and solving your problems meant a one on one fight face to face I'd like to think that both wouldn't have had their lives ruined.

Now before y'all freak the fuk out. What about you fathers of the Misc or regular schmo's. What if you had taken your kid or parent out to the movies (basically where this happened, there's an ice cream shop and SB next to where this happened) and a stray bullet caught and killed them? Reported more than 15-20 shots in succession.

Macho BS aside and the ****z who think CCW is a magic shield - the more you go out in public can you say you feel safer today than you did 5-10 years ago?
how would taking guns away from the good guys help the situation?

If my family got shot up I think that is more proof that I need my own guns.

What idiot sees people around them shot up and thinks I dont need protection. What person in 2023 thinks they can just rely on this current government, the one that encourages illegal immigration, slashes police budgets and gives permission for riots and looting, to protect them.

The plan is pretty simple, they plan to remove them from all of the law abiding citizens. the states that require direct registration, they will get those first. then the states who dont have a registration they will use federal sales records for best effort. The criminals obviously get to keep their guns. They will bet the cucks who are already obeying all the orders and paying their taxes will roll over in submission and turn them in without much fight.

Nope. There is no correlation between homicide rates and gun ownership rates. There is also no correlation between violent crime and gun ownership rates.

24% of gun death of children are suicide. 24% isn't a majority.

I am seeing 32% suicide for the under 18 Crowd and 55% suicide for the 18+ crowd. Again for GUN DEATHS not gun violence.

Fair enough though about me making a wrong assumption that the overall stat applied to the under 20 crowd.

https://www.pewresearch.org/short-re...-in-two-years/

As for no correlation. That is 100% accurate.

Nope... Why do you think the gun grabbers use gun deaths and gun violence instead of the combined numbers?

The prevalence of the tool increases usage, but not the actual violent acts / murders themselves.

Don't compare by state. Not enough variance as gun ownership is extremely high nationwide. Not to
Mention that graph itself has a correlation to it lol.

Lol at trying to sneak DC in there to try and lessen the obvious correlation.
