1. "But I say this as a citizen as much as a government analyst," the senior official says.
"We are in a unique moment and the numbers are daunting."
2. "Are we talking just a few thousand Proud Boy types,
or are we talking 30 percent of the country that are core Trump voters?
Are we talking extremists bent on political violence...... or just a lot of disgruntled and frustrated citizens?"
Hopefully "just a few bad apples"

1. Whistleblowers at the FBI identified a problem with how the handle specific cases dealing with groups of individuals. previously, they would file reports based on an incident. For instance, at the capital, they would have written that up as one incident. When a group of five people commit a crime, it would be a single incident. What they have done is they have divided each individual up as a separate incident now. So instead of filing the events at the capital as asingle incident, they counted each individual offense as an act of terrorism. This was done for two reasons, the first being that the FBI is funded based on their caseload. The second, is that it increases the number of "right wing terrorist acts". In other words, they are manufacturing a terrorist crisis that does not exist. So if you look at the data by the FBI, it will look as if right wing terrorism is a greater threat did it really is. And not by a small number.
2. The report done on this topic, the FBI stated that this goes for the left as well, but that would not be as likely. As stated above, left-wing acts of terrorism is still being filed as a single event, decreasing the numbers and focus on left-wing extremism.
This allows the FBI to set the narrative, the agenda, and the funding to go after conservatives, while simultaneously, and purposely, ignoring left-wing extremism. If the directive for the funding is for one thing, it is not to be used on another.
3. As with any extremist regime, the government encourages people to act like Karens. The traditional term for this is "Stool pigeon". They will get citizens to work as state actors by giving them phone numbers and contacts agencies to call to report "right wing extremism". This is already been demonstrated and evidenced by the innocent people already raided by the FBI for protesting. There are at four or five of these cases that were brought forth in oversight hearings in congress. To make matters worse, most of these individuals were attacked first by left-wing extremists, but the call to the FBI deemed the protesters as terrorists and they were swatted, arrested, and jailed. Later, most of these cases were dismissed because of their innocence, but it's likely because they were not in extremist cities or towns like NYC and DC.
With the help of stool pigeons (we likely have someone this site), no one who has conservative views or support Trump will be safe

A vast majority of what I know comes straight from the horse’s mouth now. Instead of watching the news, I watch clips of senate hearings and proceedings (Forbes posts these), court cases, economic analysis by non main stream economists like the Mises institute fellows…and about once or twice a week I’ll listen to a few podcasts of independent journalists that have inside intel that no one else has (former secret service, federal employees etc).
For instance, whenever I hear someone say “THere is no evidence on Biden!”, I think to myself, that’s parroting, because I’ve watched dozens of hours worth of evidence being given. It’s a stack a mile high at this point, but I’m one of the few people who actually take the time to actually watch the hearings, and even though I’ve done this, lefties will never believe it anyway.
It’s really the only way to be well informed these days. Ever since Obama repealed the law that preventing government from using propaganda on citizens, it’s been a chit show. The government leaks and feeds info all day long to MSM, and it’s all propaganda, which also came out in the hearings that no one watches.
It’s very time consuming though, which sucks for te average American. It’s a shame that the common man can’t just watch the news anymore for straight facts and good info. My work allows me to do this.

This new category is mostly self-made with a touch of help from Trump et al.
The whole point of OP is to, once again, feed into their insatiable persecution complex. It's what Trump is doing ATM. Hewantsto go to jail, so he can play the victim card and tell his cronies they need to vote him back in so he can save them.
There's a distinction worth mentioning. They're not being targeted because of their political beliefs. They're being targeted because they are being violent extremists to support their political ideology. It's a subtle tactic to foment rage.
The FBI isn't targeting innocent people. Actually read the article, and realize this is just to stoke the Biden weaponizing three letter departments talking point, and let Trumpers, like GrandadWangGobbler77, feed their addiction to victimhood.

A shirtless man went to the Wisconsin Democrat Governor's office with an AK-47 making "concerning statements."https://www.washingtonpost.com/polit...rce=reddit.com
THIS is why the FBI is creating a new category for Trumpers..... domestic terrorism is on the rise and as the GOP loses more and more Trumpers are going to go nuts. The FBI has to be prepared.

Apples and oranges and of course you would try and equate the two by mistake i am sure, lol.
Compare the new Black Panther party to militias on jan 6th
After 9/11, the country’s counterterrorism focus turns almost exclusively to Al Qaeda. But the election of America’s first Black president helps to spark a resurgence in the far right. In early 2009, Daryl Johnson, a Department of Homeland Security analyst, writes a report warning that home-grown extremists are organizing and targeting military veterans for recruitment. Johnson is correct. But when the report is leaked, he finds himself in the center of political firestorm. Part 3 of our 5-part series Extremism in America.
