I've worked for 2 Phds in Physics, one at a hedge fund and one at a tech company. You should have no problem finding a job unless you come off bad. What is your experience in?

I must come off badly on my resume hahaha. My experience is in computational physics. More specifically, using molecular dynamics simulations to study the behavior and structure of novel solvents.

Btw, you don't need to optimize for each position, you can optimize for just certain titles you want and use the doc reader plugin alongside the resume one, paste like 4 or 5 job postings under that title and then have it read that instead. You can do the same with your current resume

You gotta work your way up OP. You could also get a job as a janitor at a prestigious school and then solve all the really hard formulas at night left on the board until the teacher catches you and hooks you up with a cool job.

Besides the usual things like mathematics, I have software skills, mostly Python, shell, and bash, that I used to write code. I can create and relax atomic and molecular systems, tinker with different parameters depending on what the system is doing, etc.

1) Get into data science / data analytics. You may have start small doing analyst grunt work for a while, but if you're sharp and hard working you can climb the ladder quickly.

2) Go to one of those coding bootcamps

3) Go back to school for 2 years and get a degree in engineering. You probably have a lot of the requisite classes covered and being an engineer with a masters in physics might help land you something decent

4) Apply to fed and defense contractor work

Good luck starting anywhere at $80k with no real work application experience though.
