I was pondering containment of saddam hussein and I have heard those arguments before dating back to 2003. Even seen very strong case made That the only way Iraqi citizens can survive is under dictatorship.
Reasons I was fine with him going include his is an enemy of Israel whom he attacked and he had chemical weapons whom he attacked the Kurds with. And just an unlikeable guy to me which helped me take satisfaction in it. I hated Saddam . I liked his haircut but that’s it!!
But really can any if you imagine if Saddam were here today. Not talking about his oppression of his people as much as I am his antagonistic foreign policies against the Jews and America.
He’d risen more on the world stage at this time rubbing elbows with Putin, Xi, and North Korea . I’m sure he would’ve let the rivalry between him and the other Arab nations aswell as Iran go. He’s try to mend relations with all of them by now. Make his enemies who are enemies of his enemies (US/Israel) his friends

Also, his strategy was kind of clever in a way during the Gul War, attacking Israel. Hoping for a Retaliation.

How many Arabs lost their life because of Saddam? Biggest killer of Muslims? Other Muslims.

Trump told his people they couldn't trust mail in voting. Seems that didn't help him.

I can't see them going for Trump, though, as he's in the news talking about cracking down on Hamas related Palestinian rallies...they'll probably just see that as anti-Muslim/anti-Palestenian and not anti-terrorism which is what Trump wants to project.

The crowds chanting anti Israeli slogans also chanted, “**** Joe Biden” for his role in this war . Time to vote out genocide Joe if you’re a liberal.
I can never back Joe still. For economic and foreign policy issues. Well and there’s the open border policy. Argh!
