And WRT to the physician thing... it's my IRL experience that professional women are pretty willing to date down. I hang out with a lot of professionals in kickball leagues, and the majority of the women with graduate degrees are married to tradies. Like these are robust ex-athlete tradies, so it's not like they aren't bringing any value to the table. But for example, we have a clinical psychologist running her own practice, married to a beer can assembly line technician who played offensive line in high school.

I think the reason I match with hardcore Christians with good jobs, is because I have/had a good job, so they don't feel like they are dating down as far. Like Banh Mi isn't going to have much luck at finding another doctor, so a STEMlord with a masters degree is probably the next rung down.
