1. He is an absolute pussy. Like there is no other room for any other personality traits because all he knows is weak little pussy boy.

2. She will not do that again. The consequences were not warranted but she needs a little emotional regulation herself.

3. We have to be more patient with the camera guy. He had to process and accept that insane thing actually was happening. It did take a second a while he didn’t physically put himself in the way, he was clearly upset by the situation. He just didn’t know how to handle it. Not everyone has a productive response to stress. It isn’t like he signed up for it and was going into a conflict. I know we can all project our own personal values here, but I really do think we should take it easy on him. He absolutely should have knocked that dude out. I would suggest that is a duty any of us have when in a situation like that. Not an obligation though.

An overreaction, but not as bad as it's made out, they're mostly slaps.

definitely don't condone it, but since we're in a world of equality then we must ask, if this was another man who spat on him, would you think the reaction was justified? Ultimately she apparently thinks her actions don't have consequences because she's a woman. It's all very well to say what is 'justified', but in the heat of the moment people very rarely react in a strongly restrained and 'justified' manner. If you spit on someone, then there's always the risk they will react something like this.

Either way, spitting on people is vile and disgusting, so it looks like they deserve each other.

Spitting in someone's face is one of the most blatantly disrespectful things you can do to someone. If you are willing to spit on someone, let alone point blank directly into their face, you're pretty much telling them you view them as lower than dirt. Spit can also carry and transfer diseases, although that part of it wouldn't have been of concern to her actual bf.

But yeah, imagine your own gf/wife had the audacity to do that to you. Imo, the relationship is done the instant they do that, that's how disrespectful that is. Seriously though? Like really think about this - You see a 5ft 8" guy walk up to a 6'6" guy and spit in his face, maybe call his mother a whore, and the 6'6" guy gave him some relatively weak slaps, you'd try and beat the **** out of the guy getting spat on for no reason just because the instigator was smaller..?
