I have never used it before. I've never been able to bring myself to pay like $30+ for a $10 meal purely for the sake of convenience of having someone who is likely borderline unemployable in other lines of work deliver food that will be cooled off by the time they get it to me.

I'm fine paying a premium if I'm tired now and again but what kills it for me is that you're getting 2-hour old food (if you're lucky). At that point, just get a ****ing pizza if you're okay eating mid slop.

Btw, **** Bodhy.

Same. Late 2020 early 2021 was when I stopped. Only did it a few of times.

unless you're elderly or crippled and literally cannot get out of the house, it was, and always will be, a huge waste of money.

I really don't think it is that bad if you are aware of your local restaurants' pricings/ There are plenty around me that don't upcharge from their menu, and if you use doordash enough they waive all the fees so it's just a tip for the driver.

regardless, i think it's worth it cause I hate cooking. I hate cleaning so I pay a girl to do that too.

I guess its okay for groceries, but I don't like the idea of random strangers delivering my take-out where they can drink out of the drink I ordered or take a few bites out of the chow mein.

oh if you haven't used it in awhile, that was a thing and now the restaurants lock the bags down like fort knox - they're either stapled or closed with stickers so you can see if they have been opened, some places get out of control and you have to rip the bag open. Drinks I'll give you but we don't often order those.

But one of my favorite things is ordering mid workout and then when I am done, I walk upstairs and dinner is sitting on my stoop.

They also have upgrade options now to have direct delivery so your stuff is guaranteed to come straight to you, they waive that for you too if you spend enough
