"Trust is essential in business. We don’t deal with people we don’t trust. But trust is a fickle thing because we often rely exclusively on external stimuli to determine who is worthy of our trust and who isn’t. And sometimes, simple details such as the presence or absence of facial hair can make businessmen seem more or less trustworthy.

Studies suggest that growing a beard can help businessmen seem more trustworthy. But this wasn’t always true in the past. The public’s opinion on facial hair changes over time and successful businessmen should adapt accordingly."

Beards also make you seem more powerful and dominant

https://www.theenglishshavingcompany...ology-science/

"Your style says a lot about your identity. Beards, moustaches or going clean shaven are all stylistic choices that can affect the way people view you. However, beard psychology reveals that facial hair can have an even greater impact than you might realise. It subconsciously affects the way people perceive you including your employability, trust, social skills and masculinity. While having a full beard doesn’t guarantee an immediate alpha-male presence or success in your next interview -- there are limits as to what beard psychology can achieve on its own -- your facial hair can subtly impact people’s perception of you."

And for you single bros, sloots seem to enjoy a well groomed beard

https://www.themanual.com/grooming/d...n-like-beards/

"The answer is varied overall, not in the least according to the type of beard you’re sporting. But a UK study covered by ZME Science stated that women tend to find men with beards more masculine and aggressive, which are both potentially strong signs to search for in a mate.

Other studies have shown that women tend to rate men with beards as more attractive, or potentially better as partners or at raising offspring. Research also indicates that women view having a beard as a sign of stability, meaning men are viewed as being geared towards a long-term relationship rather than a short-term one."

Beards are power brahs.

For your time

Whether beards are "natural" and makeup is "artificial" is irrelevant COPE.

It is the EFFECT that the beard has which is why you decide to keep it.

That EFFECT for the modern man is to use it as Concealer, or you're just too lazy, or both...

it's because beards hide people's baby faces and cheek fat

if these men in the studies actually hard sharp chiseled jaw lines and low BF then there would be vastly different results

I said not to underestimate beards and link studies to their advantages, while you come in trying to disparage them by posting the video equivalents to gossip magazines.

I never said being clean shaven is bad, yet you feel the need to try to prove some sort of superiority by clowning on men with them. This is very insecure behavior, and I wish you all the luck with dealing with that.

lmao at people who equate men rocking a bit of well kept facial hair (100% natural, requires nothing but maintaining it with trimming and washing it) to a woman putting a pound of clown makeup on her face

Not a very good look. I couldn't grow one for a long time. Had nothing against my scruffy brethren. I may go short stubble again eventually, but for now, beard life is pretty damn cool.

Long beard category was 7" or more measured from your bottom lip (everything below that was short category--mine was like 6"). They also had a freestyle category for crazy mustaches, braids, etc.

Full, dense beards look cool as hell. I’m talking Jason Statham density when he has stubble, or a true full lumberjack beard.

A sparse beard or mustache will always look bad. I fall into the not good density category so I just shave fully every 3 days or so. The stubble looks good up until that time.

At least I have a good jaw and chin to fall back on. Guys with trash beards and weak jaws got dealt the worst cards.

Nah fam, you’re being sensitive. I can grow a beard, I just don’t like the oiliness and grime that comes with it. And as I said, it’s the ability to grow a beard that matters and anyone can see the stubble even on a clean shaven face.

I also don’t like hiding my jaw, hollow cheeks and partially my cheekbones. Which brought me to the second point which is beards are cope for the modern man. That black dude said it himself, he didn’t like what he saw when he shaved cause it was hiding his weight gain.

I don’t want Miscers to be using a crutch through life - that’s incel. Lets your nuts hang, show that you’re shredded with a strong masculine jaw.

The final point came with scientific studies that stated beard brahs are a walking Petri dish of resistant bacteria.

When I make my points, it’s with logic, science, and culture.

Stubble or at most a short beard that doesn’t leave the shape of the jaw is fine, anything longer makes you look immediately unaesthetic and loser-ish to both men and women.

Not sheriff serious. Rarely do you see the powerful/wealthy have a beard. Sergey Brin, Larry Ellison, Ben Bernanke and Saudi Royal fam come to mind. Otherwise you'll struggle to find a president of a tier 1 country or someone worth 50bil+ with a beard

A beard is a secondary sex characteristic, not make up. If left in the wild men will be bearded(apart from some of the miscers itt who obviously can't grow one).

Also saying that a beard is dirty and will hide your purdy face is so vain and feminine I would be embarrassed to voice such an opinion if I shared it.

anything longer than a weeks growth is pure cringe. Even then it should only be grown out once in a while, clean shaven should be your default. I know people who I see almost everyday and haven't seen their faces in 10+ YEARS LMAO, I'm not even kidding.

at the end of the day do what u want but don't act like you turned into a giga chad just because you grew a beard like a lot of guys in their 30s seem to think

Same with models and actors (unless it’s a timepiece role). Sometimes an actor like Brad Pitt will grow a beard temporarily as an accessory just to show a different look. It’s like when I put on some glasses in front of my ex-girlfriend. She swooned. or a baseball cap that hides my full head of hair, but it made me look like Enrique Iglesias. She swooned both times but hiding my face/eyes behind glasses or my full head of hair under a cap would be diminishing my strengths. Those are to be worn once in a while just to change it up.

A lot of you beard brahs are in your feels. I’m just trying to motivate you to be more hygienic and get shredded. Getting angry about that is some incel ch!t. “Wahhh, I don’t wanna work to be shredded - I should be loved without putting in the work (BBMG).”

For those who say just a light beard to show the jawline, you will still be hide the masseters from popping in and out as you talk and chew.

For those of you saying you want to “go back to nature” and be full Osama bin Laden chitting in caves, then be my guest. But remember where you are - you’re on a forum about 1st world male aesthetics. This isn’t for lazy incels who can’t bother with shaving or getting shredded. We use machines and books and “supplements” to build ourselves up. We’re not wiping our ass with our hands and keeping leftover dinner in our beard in case we get hungry later.

I challenge you to push further even through the cope level of “good enough” if I hide my face. Why hide masseters, cheekbones and hollow cheeks, just so you can be lazy?

it literally means your face is ugly without a bunch of hair covering it. same way having mask selfies was a thing for ugly girls during covid. hide half of your face and you may create an illusion as being attractive

Again a beard is a secondary sex characteristic. Much like a bull's horns or the silver patch on a gorilla's back. It's not meant to hide anything, but to make you stand out and make you look masculine.

Again, if you believe that then having a bear rug on your back, chest and stomach is a display of masculinity even if it’s hiding the striations in your pecs, your six pack abs and a well developed back…. COPE!

We SHAVE that chit off. Imagine telling Arnold in the 70s that he should “go back to nature” to demonstrate peak masculine aesthetics. Grow out chest hair, back hair, and stomach hair because it’s natural masculinity and demonstrates strength and power. Thats some psy ops that he would use against his competition LOL.

Game. Set. Match.

If you don’t have the high cheekbones and masseters or strong chin, then yes. Hide that ch!t and COPE.

Luckily for you brahs with low T you don't have to worry about chest hair and beards and chit like that.
