People voted for this and still many will vote the same way as they do not use logic but rather emotion or just vote liberal because that's what they do for years or even generations.
Liberal/NDP have no reason to care anymore and will just do whatever they want as next election they will likely be torn to shreds but the GTA will still vote for it.

if you want cheap cost of living just move to nova scotia, halifax etc
now that place is almost as expensive as Ontario
similar thing is happening in Calgary atm. The last year rents and home prices have increased. You don't see a pattern>?
