Dremels and tablesaws skeeve me tf out. I prefer to avoid a tablesaw as much as I can. Dremels I'm a bit more comfortable with but still very wary of. Try to use that only for the smallest stuff.

But the one tool that legitimately scares me is a hi-lift jack. Great for farm use and offroad recovery but if not used properly they can be unbelievably dangerous.

Angle grinder FUKN LMAOOO

Used an angle grinder some months ago on a jobsite. Thing kept biting hard and getting jammed, eventually it flew outta my hands and then proceeded to wrap up in my sweat pants. Would've been fukd if I didn't have the manual switch.

Proceeded to do research because you know tradies don't tell you chit about safety. Also never wearing sweat pants again.

The spring compressor tool for changing speings on a car. Wouldn't do it for my jeep lol ordered them already built and ready to go.

This. I can do pretty much anything on my car but I took my struts/springs to my mechanic. He proceeded to tell me a story about all the bad times with a spring compressor and confirmed a couple hundred buck was worth it.

Heard many stories about the chain breaking off of the chainsaw, then wrapping around your arm or some chit

Not that scared to use the table saw tbh, but I know its only safe if I slow way down and be cautious

you can where kevlar clothing and be pretty safe, but one guy the chain came up and flung into his neck

My welding instructor a decade ago did crime scene cleanup and he had to clean up one of these accidents. Big pedestal bench grinder bound up when a wrench got sucked into it. Wheel busted and sent a chunk through the guy operating its head.

Bench grinders are terrifying to use if its not your own or its somewhere that it could be shared. Pretty sure a lot of the accidents happen because people grind aluminum and other soft metals on it. The aluminum then gums up the wheel and unbalances it. Boom!

You're lucky to be alive and in one piece srs. I'd break bread with God and tell him you'll never lower yourself to tradie work ever again
