We are actually feeding him 2/3rds normal amount of calories on the recommendation of our vet to keep his growth as slow as possible...i.e. their size and muscle doesn't outgrow their joints and soft tissue which will prevent problems later since our vet thinks he is going to be huge.

I want a German Shepherd so badly ... big downside of NYC is that 99% of living spaces won't let you have a large breed.

Which is hilarious because he’s actually a dog, not a horse.

Kind of have a story involving this guy now.
Like I said it's actually my mum's pupper. And I don't live with my parents which might come as a shock to most of you guys considering I'm incel.
Anyways my mum was walking pupper around 5:30 in the morning. Pupper is very hard to control and my mum is almost 70. Apparently she suffered some kind of subdural hemorrhage (bleeding in the brain) and passed out in the small road leading up to our house.
One of the neighbours found her. I would have expected pupper to have run off but he stayed near my mum and wouldn't let anyone approach her.
They had to get my dad who came and dragged the dog inside the house.
But while he was trying to revive her (he's a doc), this pupper had somehow escaped from the house and come back.. lol
Anyways, they got my mum to the hospital and she recovered. Thankfully it's wasn't a stroke and she doesn't have any ongoing symptoms other than a headache. Still in hospital since her blood pressure is out of control (they said it's because of the pressure control system in the brain is still recoverings), and she has had heart issues in the past.. My mom's quite fit for her age but she has alwals had heart problems even when I was a kid. Reckon they'll keep her there until they get her blood pressure in-check.
