It also depends what you want in a relationship, there are many variables.
We dated for 3 months or so and decided to be friends, but I admit that I wasn't 100% attracted to him. With the lust is different, felt that in my previous relationship but had sex after more than 10/grab a coffe after work/school dates and gym trainings (together), the relationship was pretty long and I felt that he genuinely liked me. How would you sleep with a guy before having an argument or contradiction ? You need to see if he would still be with you knowing that you're crazy. Also, this strategy works wonder if you want to get rid of Chads, they never wait that much or spend that much time/money if all they want is sex.

a lot of chicks are slooting on the dl even tho they act like nuns.
I never had problems with guys paying things for me, I don't have a boyfriend and my house is full of flowers from the guys that I'm friends with, one send me "From your FRIENDly Valentine". Yes, they know where I live because I invite my friends over when I'm baking for them and they also give me rides from school.

Ever notice how much more happy old timer couples are compared with today's generation that has multiple partners, FWB's, etc.?
I have some issues and I think this is why I am like that, my mother is an amazing woman who sacrificed for the family and my father wasn't really a model. I grew up really ambitious and fearless, but I have a hard time trusting males, this is why I am really reluctant about giving something so personal to someone. I just had a crying session yesterday in my teacher's office because I am a second year student and I want a career. Got asked why am I so inpatient with personal success, do I have a boyfriend ? Cried all my way home cause I realized how hard will it be for me to trust someone.

People are looking for someone who has everything going for them, including looks so they can parade the dude all over social media.

A couple of my friends I know have had 2-3 relationships top and they are extremely happy with their life and partner. Maybe those people who married their high school sweetheart were better off after all.
My mother married her highschool sweetheart and I think it was a mistake. On the other hand, I agree that too many partners may f**k you up mentally.

Honestly just do what feels comfortable for you as some others have said.

Personally if a girl wanted to **** after 1 date I wouldn't respect her at all but that's because I am looking for quality and I feel like it's worth it, IMO.

No, we had no common friends so it was only the 2 of us dating, I wasn't really really attracted to him and I saw him more like a friend, but also really tried not to be shallow. In the end told him so he can find a better match, because it was selfish. We are still friends.

Yes, I agree with you, but also judging by my past, even when sexually attracted I still wait a lot more than what seems to be normal. I just find it hard to trust guys without seeing more and feeling safe, feeling that it actually leads somewhere . By the way, I don't see myself as being better than other women because I wait more, this is not a guarantee for finding love or being happy, I just found it a bit fast. But 10/10 not judging since my girlfriends are different types and I love them all

Allow me to take OP through the brahs thought process step by step. For future reference for any females ITT as well.

*at gym*

"Hm, this chick came straight up to me and asked me out. Intredasting."

"Not that attracted, but she's right here in front of me and it would be awkward to say no....

*Plus, I may want to get in them sugarwalls anyway. Maybe she'll make it easy."

*gets home*

"She just texted. Not really interested, but am I doing anything on [date and time]...? *checks calendar* "

*Nope, free. And she had some cajones. I'm intrigued. Maybe this could actually be fun."

*on date*

"She's pretty cool. We're having a nice convo. Not really feeling the date for some reason though. Oh yeah, duh, I'm not attracted to her. Maybe I acquire sugarwalls anyway? Lets see."

*after date/smash*

"She likes me. And she's pretty cool. But if I keep talking to her, it'll be a situation because I see her at the gym all the time and I can't just ghost and go NC like I want to."

*after thinking about it for a few seconds*

"Nope. I gotta deal with post-smash feels and acting like I'm still interested at the gym if I keep getting the sugarwalls, and she's not hot enough to deal with that. And I don't want to smash that much anyway."

*to OP*

"Had a great time tonight. Talk to you later."

*goes home*

"Das it mane. Maybe she'll get the hint."

Meanwhile, on Misc....

Nothing you can do about it except wait for time to pass and move on. Apologies OP, I really admire the initiative you took and wish more girls had the balls to do it. You're a cool chick.

Not trying to spare your feelings. Misc brahs are brutal with each other, and you're no different just because you're a female. This whole thread has been bitter pills so far.

I'm honestly not trying to be mean. I wanted to lay out a mans thought process so everything that happened has context. I would actually really appreciate the chicks doing this in the 100000x threads guys post about being ghosted as well. The older I get the more I find understanding WHY things happen is actually better than having my feelings spared.

In the end, when it comes to guys, EVERYTHING IS ABOUT ATTRACTION. At least within the first few encounters.

If you get past a few dates, then other things come into play. But at first, whatever happens in your interaction quality/frequency will be 100% influenced by how attracted he is to you.

Unlike with you guys (the fairer sex), a womans personality, values, shared interests, career and aspirations, etc. all mean JACK CHIT if he doesn't want to babynames.com

Misc is more educational than I thought.
you must not have any friends, tv or the internet if you think people are waiting 12 dates to have sex.

It gets easier, by like the 10th rejection you should be pretty numb to it.

Welcome to being a guy breh. If it means anything, I'd guess the vast majority of males like it when they are asked out. It's flattering at the minimum. Guys don't really compliment each other as much as girls do, so for someone to actually act out on it as well is a huge ego boost.

Yes, at least now I know for sure and that is what I needed. I didn't respond to his text and will just try to act cool when I see him next.

I guess
1. You're not stupid, so don't fukking say that. IDK why women and men say this after misreading the situation. Listen to melis's words, she know that of which she speaks:

I think if you like someone, regardless of your gender, it's fine to make the first move. Because let's face it the other person mightn't (for a million reasons) and that can leave you wondering what if?
Yeah. That "if" is what I always worry about. I don't want to look back and wonder what would've happened had I gotten the balls to put myself on a dudes radar. Or just see what would happen if we'd spoken and hung out.

I'm not one for regret, so I don't like to put myself in that position to experience it.

How'd you get so smart, dawwwwlin?
